Would do ten stars if could. Sunday lunch for 13.95 with as much as you can eat carvery. Staff amazing even though very young. They are always polite and courteous. Well done Cornmill. |Always clean and well organized. |FAULTLESS |Have eaten here for years and never fails. All staff brilliant

Wow! Very rarely have we stayed in a hotel with such welcoming and attentive staff, let alone the high quality and service of the food in the restaurant and cleanliness of the room. Although we are elderly with poor'ish mobility, we booked 2 nights in a Tower Suite on the first floor because there is a lift, so no stairs to worry about. On arrival we discovered the lift was out of order that day. Did the hotel help? Indeed they did. The ground floor accessible rooms were already booked, so the owner himself carried our cases up to the room!! Would we here stay again? Without a doubt. Thank you to the owners and their entire staff for making our stay so pleasant.

Our group had our annual Christmas lunch here and we all enjoyed it.

The food was excellent. The vegetables were not mushy as must carvery's veg seems to be and the meat was tender and lean.

The staff were excellent, attentive and not invasive.

They have Black Sheep beer on pumps, but they seem to hide them? I enjoyed a pint, but it's not cheap.

We didn't stay here, but I would if I didn't live so close...

We stayed at the Corn Mill Lodge for 4 nights on a coach holiday and were very impressed with the hotel which was ideal for such a holiday in our opinion. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the staff (mainly young) were very polite, friendly and very efficient (and seemed to be very happy). What did surprise us was the quality of the food – the buffet style breakfast allowed everyone to choose exactly what they wanted and the 3-course evening meals were fantastic (good size portions of good quality food and a choice of 4 starters/mains/desserts). The bar was also great, with a wide choice of beers, spirits, wines and excellent service – we spent long enough in there to make that judgement! All in all, a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay there. We loved it!

As part of a coach tour from South Wales we stayed at the hotel for four nights midweek.||There was so much to like; the modern rooms, very clean and the staff super friendly. The food portions for breakfast and evening meals were excellent and this is probably the best time to pass on all our thanks to the night porter aka breakfast chef. What a great guy whose endless energy made our holiday. The best hotel breakfast ever. ||The bar area was a little small so we took advantage of the agreement with the Main Line Social Club a 5 minute walk away and spent three evenings there. What a fabulous warm welcome we had.||Now the bits that weren't quite right. On our last evening the hotel had over committed itself with a private party, normal guests, walk ins and our coach group. The delays in serving courses were long and the young staff did not perhaps have the training to deal with guest complaints. Some guests were waiting an hour for food, paying customers were served before others and it put a sour edge on the evening. I hope the managers and owners will look at this. A complimentary drink offer to those badly affected would have taken the heat out of the frustration and rather than your young waiting staff fending off disgruntled customers the manager should have dealt with it in person. The lesson is you are only as good as your last meal. ||On another restaurant issue I am not convinced that the contaminated crumble pudding that was served with a hard plastic washer the size of a 10p was handled as per Food Standards Agency requirements. There was no immediate recall of other crumble puddings that might have also been contaminated. The hotel is leaving itself open to large compensation fines unless a procedure for foreign bodies found in food is established and followed.||But to end on a brighter note the hotel has free cctv covered parking and has wonderful staff who work really hard. I wish you the very best for the forthcoming festive season.

Lovely helpful people in a traditionally English hotel. Clean, comfortable, nice condition. Spacious bedroom. Bed on the firm side so they kindly fitted a mattress topper. Free car park with regular bus service in to Leeds (30 mins). Very tasty meal on Friday night including choice for vegetarians. Good breakfast, free at weekends. Gluten free bread on request. Daily room service.

Had a great stay here this weekend when we went Christmas shopping in Leeds. Hotel staff all very friendly and rooms spotless. Had an amazing meal in the restaurant tonight and Ryan was very helpful. Would def stay again
