We came to Whitby on a whim. It wasn't really planned. We just got up and decided to have a drive and find a B&B when we arrived. Stupidly, we forgot it was a long bank holiday weekend! We tried everywhere, and was about to give up and head home after a day's sightseeing and wandering. Luckily, on our very final attempt, we got lucky! And we couldn't have got a better place! Very reasonable price. Lovely, clean room, and the best breakfast I've ever had in any accommodation whilst away!!! The owner, Simon, is a genuinely nice guy. He instantly makes you feel at home and like you've known him for years. The establishment is literally a stones throw from the seafront and the centre! |You're free to come and go as you please, and get street parking for an extra fiver! Which is well worth it, as finding a reasonable parking spot in Whitby is difficult and very expensive!|Can't wait to visit Whitby and stay here again! |Cheers Simon. 'The corner guest house ' was great. Simon was so accommodating, friendly,funny and a FAB!! Cook. Breakfast was exceptional. Kippers were fresh and tasty. |Rooms clean and welcoming. Before Very comfortable. Bath towels that you can actually get around you. Parking permits available from the guest house right out side . Rooms very nice and quiet at night Litraly a 10 minute walk into the town . Over all a GREAT PLACE TO STAY 11/10; if you like live music the Loft up by the abby has live music on on a Sat evening

Stayed 30/06/24. What a nice chap Simon is, formal but in a laid back manner which created a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had room 7 on the ground floor which was spotlessly clean and had a big comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing and Simon even made porridge for me on request which was excellent. Loads to eat and all tastes catered for and as Simon says " if you're still hungry after breakfast it's your own fault " It's in a great location as well with the seafront and attractions less than 10 minutes walk away. Would we stay there again? DEFINITELY.

Super cute. Great location. Great lounge. Lots of character. Lovely host. In the rooms; high ceilings and windows that actually shut out the noise of birds in the morning is much appreciated 👍 I know for a fact because we had it open the first night and fixed that mistake 😆

The host and hostess with the mostest ! Nothing was too much trouble for Simon (and sorry, but I’ve forgotten his wife’s name). Extremely accommodating and friendly. Simon even helped us park our motorbikes in his secure back yard.|And as for the breakfast, top quality local ingredients skillyfully prepared and cooked by Simon and wonderfully presented.|We will be back !||From Rob and Craig - the BMW biker ‘old-boys’.

Clean friendly place to stay. Lots of choice at breakfast and plenty of it. Including home made marmalade. Simon the host and chef very helpful and friendly. Parked right outside just needed a permit which was cheaper than car parks. Would stay here again if we come back to Whitby. In fact we have booked an extra night.
