The hotel is very nice and the furnishings are interesting and eclectic. We ate dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The menu is very varied and interesting. Maria was our server and was very pleasant. We had a bit of trouble with the room but they were very quick to resolve as best they could and offered to change rooms when a minor issue could not be fixed til morning. The location is great with easy access to the tube as well as walkable distance to several sites. Great place to stay!

We booked two rooms as a family of 5 and were impressed from the minute we arrived. Staff were super welcoming on arrival and despite a small issue with our room, it was sorted promptly and with an apology. The room itself was really quirky and had enough lights, mirrors and sockets. The bed was massive and so comfy. Breakfast was buffet style - so much choice and absolutely superb. We finished off our two night stay with drinks in the bar with some friends- special shoutout to Kamille who really looked after us.

This is certainly a more unique hotel in the area, so if you’re looking for something a little different it’s worth considering. I had a room on one of the lower floor levels, which didn’t make for the best first impressions, since the corridors are a little dated and the lack of airflow is noticeable. However the room itself was perfectly comfortable for a single night’s stay. Given it had no windows it was perfectly quiet although the location of the air-conditioning unit meant it chilled the entrance area rather than the sleeping area of the room.

If was nice for a large glass bottle of water to be provided and there were plenty of electric sockets next to the bed. Lighting was decent, a good numbers of towels and storage space, and plenty of unique artwork and design to admire. The bathroom was spacious enough with good toiletries and nice storage space in the shower itself.

Checking in and out was a bit of a pain since the staff insist you use the touch screens, which aren't the most intuitive and actually didn't offer all the options I needed, such as obtaining an invoice. Given the maze of corridors beneath ground, the hotel could also benefit from some better signage.

I was surprised to find the restaurant busy throughout my stay, especially given the alternative options in the area. But it’s helped by the fact the bar is open 24 hours a day - a great unique feature. The bar staff are friendly, the service is quick and the prices reasonable given the hotel location. There isn’t a huge amount of seating but it was a great facility.

If the price was right I’d consider staying here again for a short stopover but if you’re looking for something a little different I’d recommend.

Had 2 nights with 2 adults and 1 16 year old. |First of all, staff are brilliant! From, check in to bar staff to waiters, absolutely the friendliest, professional, knowledgeable bunch of folk. |Secondly food. Wow! Dinner was delicious, recommend the Souvlaki and the burgers! Margaritas are belters too, if you like a cocktail! |Breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day, from hot food to continental to make your own pancakes, there will be something to suit everyone! |Our first room had an awful smell and was not habitable which is why the star has been knocked off. We were moved after highlighting it but shouldn't have happened. |Overall, perfect location, 20 minutes on the tube to city centre, £15 in an uber to Exel arena. And the people and food are what will definitely make us book again x

i had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. both check in and check out were very smooth. they offered to keep our suitcase the last day after we checked out for free.

the room was very comfy and quiet. the tea/coffee machine next to the room was very convenient and a nice addition. they also provided water in the room and refilled it every time. the shower was hot and spacious, and the room was very clean.

the breakfast was also very good, there is a huge choice and the quality is better than the average breakfast buffet. the vegan croissants were excellent.

the location is extremely convenient if you arrive from stansted because the bus stops at whitechapel which is a 10 minutes walk. the subway station aldgate east is a 4 minutes walk and there are bus stops very close too. in a walkable distance you can go to a lot of places too. there is a tesco very close to the hotel too.

Amazing hotel with everything needed in central location next to the tube. They even give you a voucher for a drink if your room was not cleaned (do not disturb sign hanged on your door). Good breakfast, coffee/tee machine and iron self-service on each floor. Nice menu at the red and at the bar.
Great soundproofing, powerful hairdryer in the room. A bit small standard room for a stay of a week. We spent a lot of time outside so it did not bother us. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for something quirky, then this is for you.... It wasn't for me unfortunately. The rooms are pretty small, I had no window, hardly any light available within the bedroom area and the bed was pretty firm. I did like the atmosphere in the bar area but I don't think the hotel is for me.

Nice and quiet place, with a cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious and the portions are generous, perfect for those who enjoy a hearty meal. The staff is welcoming, especially Marith and Alex. Chefs Marian and Camelia clearly put a lot of care into each dish. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good food and friendly service.
