Did not eat here but rooms are good value and comfortable maybe not so great for disabled as stairs aplenty. Busy pub but limited seating for guests and not exactly amenable to let us drink in eating area although plenty spare

Paid £300 for two nights. Initially room looked nice. T.V did not work on arrival, when reported it was not addressed. (No T.V throughout stay) On the first night the electric went off, again when reported it was not addressed. (No electric throughout stay) Shower had no hot water throughout stay, was not addressed. A refrigeration unit was on all night disturbing sleep throughout stay. My partners birthday treat was totally ruined. Staff from the Dragon where obnoxious, rude and dismissive.
Their explanation was they where too busy due to a local event. Disgusting, would never stay there again. I would avoid at all costs.

Beautiful location.|Very busy pub with a lovely garden. |We stayed in the actual cottage for our first night. Was told there was maintenance the following day so booked the newly opened room 9.|The cottage was really comfortable would love to stay again. The only gripe was banging against the wall pretty early, which we assume was beer barrels being set up next door.|Room 9 was tastefully decorated. But the window faces straight over towards the pub. There's also a frosted window in the door that anyone could possibly see through if they wanted to. Being the closest room to the pub front entrance we found it really annoying to be woken up at 6am to the sound of beer barrels clanging and thudding around outside. |Wasn't the most restful stay.|However, would return to stay in the cottage.

Lovely, quiet room, warm and comfortable. Close to The Dragon pub where breakfast was served. We had half board, which was incredible value for money. Complimentary glass of wine, 20% off drinks at the bar and really delicious food. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here as a stopover and so pleasantly surprised. Lovely room, the bed was super comfy and the quilt was perfect for a duvet "cuddle". The shower ensuite was refreshing allbeit looking like it would overflow from the tray, maybe a slight drain problem, but it was fine. Would definitely stay again. Very good value.

Fantastic accommodation at a reasonable price. Great views as next to the canal. Be sure to visit the Dragon pub and restaurant next door. Plenty of parking at the venue plus a free car park across the road. Close ties to the railway station and other establishments within the village of Willington

We stayed for two nights whilst visiting family, in room one which is a superior room. Car parking outside The Cottage itself is minimal, much easier to use The Dragon (pub/restaurant) car park next door.|The room was spacious and very clean with lovely decor and furnishings. Large bathroom with rainfall shower and nice toiletries.|The bed was divine! Probably the most comfortable I have slept in I did not want to get out of it!|Good tea selection and biscuits, I think fresh milk was available on request at the pub. |We were facing the main road but did not find the traffic noise to be of any bother/disruption.|A couple of minor points, it would have been nice to have blinds for privacy and it should be more clear when booking breakfast isn’t included. For the price it would have been nice to have had the choice of even a continental breakfast.|We had breakfast in The Dragon, food was excellent but not the most welcoming service.|We will definitely stay here again and would recommend.

This is a very popular location. The room was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast at the Dragon was good and tasty. The staff are young and very helpful and friendly.
