Just returned from three wonderful nights spent at The Cottage. We were lucky to stay in The Swedish Hut which is situated at the top of the beautiful garden . We totally recommend the Hut, if you are looking for a chilled and relaxing time. It is beautiful decorated and attention to detail is high on the list. |Maz & Simon are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had, especially the home made bread.|We fell in love with Polperro and The Cottage, and will definitely be returning soon.|Thank You Maz & Simon for looking after us.|Mel & Daren

Amazing. We had a few,days in Polperro to celebrate my birthday. We took our dog too. Maz and Simon are the ultimate hosts. They made us feel so welcome, our room was spotlessly clean, large, good sized bathroom and lots of cupboard space. The breakfasts are awesome. Try the Turkish eggs ... Yum, my fave. All served with home ade sourdough, baked that morning. Plus good coffee and tea. |Lots of recommendations for places to go, where to eat, pubs to check out. |Highly recommend

Max & Simon are excellent hosts of this quaint B&B in the heart of Polperro. The breakfasts were our absolute highlight, the Bombay Bacon Roll & Flavour Craver. Maz makes absolutely everything from sour dough, yoghurt, compote, cheese etc

Older building, as are most in Polperro, so don't expect huge showers etc. The beds are very comfy, breakfasts are delicious. If you're a light sleeper ear plugs are provided. Free parking just up the road after dropping luggage off. Wednesday evening there are Cornish sea shanty singers in the British Legion or The Ship Inn. Owners are lovely - full of interesting stories.

Spent the weekend learning all about sourdough and how to make it. Maz is a brilliant and quietly inspirational teacher, explaining things is a clear and easy to understand way and allowing the students to properly be hands-on with the whole process. Nice small group and really fun all learning together in cosy and characterful Polperro. Maz and Simon are wonderful hosts and I had a very comfortable couple of nights in their charming B&B. The breakfast and brunch was excellent and I felt like I was eating in a top restaurant. Came away with a gorgeous freshly baked loaf, a starter and masses of new knowledge and enthusiasm for making sourdough. Brilliant way to spend a weekend, and I'm on my fourth homemade loaf - my gut has never been so happy!

Amazing place, warmest Welcome from our Hosts Maz and Simon. We felt all the week like at home. I loved the house with the decoration and Maz colourful style...the breakfast was wonderful, everthing perfect for me, we would like to come back soon, but from Austria it is a really long, long way.

A wonderful place with hosts that take the maximum care to make you feel happy, comfortable and welcome. The breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented and Polperro itself is absolutely beautiful. Heartily recommend. Fantastic!

We really enjoyed staying at the Cottage out of season. It is well located and provides free offsite parking. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable (although, as a policy, rooms are not serviced during the day). The breakfasts were exceptional with everything homemade and, best of all, the hosts were delightful. We look forward to going back when the weather is better!
