Food was lovely and reasonably priced? Service was absolutely amazing myself and my partner stayed for a local wedding that we was attending. The attendant had arranged for us to eat before the kitchen opened which was very nice of him.
We stayed in the suite and my god was it amazing! Lovely old feel room beautiful made up bed that was more than comfortable.
Breakfast included and the breakfast was lovely.

Highly recommend.

I got married at The Cottage Hotel on 30th November 2024. The venue is gorgeous, cosy and great for photographs. The staff were incredible throughout the whole process and on the wedding day itself, could not have wished for any better. Massive thank you for everything you all did to give me the best day of my life! Would 1000% recommend! ♥️

Came up from home 170 miles to see family and this place is perfect, great breakfast, comfy beds but as the booking sites take 18% i advise to book direct. Staff were great rooms were fine, yes a few bits of paint here and there but booking direct means they have more funds to improve little things. The only annoyance was you should book an upstairs room as if you are downstairs you can hear people walking around above or talking but that's old buildings. We will return.

After arriving at cottage hotel on a Saturday night a few weeks after no luck any where else to be greeted by Kate, Tucker who were both amazing made me feel at home gave me a beautiful room the tulip was so comfortable and warm .
On the evenings I spent at the restaurant eating there home cooked delicious chicken and mushroom sauce ,sausage and mash all was delicious and chats with Tucker James both great guy,s excellent service 😋 I would like to say a big thankyou for there great hospitality and care through my difficult time thanknyou I will definitely return as I felt so at home if you haven't stayed yet you must try 100% recommend 😀

I celebrated my 80th birthday with family and friends at the Cottage Hotel in Ruddington.|I had the most wonderful time. The hotel was clean and warm with a lovely comfortable bed and bedding and white fluffy towels. The food was superb all freshly prepared by their own chef. The staff were so amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly and welcoming.|I can’t thank them enough. |A lovely hotel to make happy memories. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here recently and were very underwhelmed. The Marigold room in particular was terrible, cobwebs everywhere, a carpet that felt like you were walking on concrete, a tiny bathroom which was probably an old wardrobe and a mattress that wasn't supportive at all. The food here in the evening was good but it took nearly an hour for our breakfast to arrive and the scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast was more like scrambled egg on cold bread.

This is a quirky hotel close to the village centre where all the rooms are different. The staff here are amazing, very attentive and friendly and certainly outstanding service. Pub style meals in comfortable bar. Good breakfast. Easy parking.

We had my mums 80th birthday party there yesterday, 21st September 24. We have been looking forward to it for a couple of months and it didn’t disappoint in anyway. The staff were absolutely amazing, kind, helpful, obliging and went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the party room was perfect. We honestly can’t thank everyone enough especially Stella, Katie and Thomas. We will be back for my mums 90th!!
