This is such a lovely local hostelry and well used by the local community and others who stop off passing through the village and run by a very nice local person. Thank-you The Cottage for your hospitality after lighting the beacon at the allotments.

My boyfriend and I came here to The Cottage a few weeks ago on his bike. It's a gem of a bar in the lush hills with great service minded staff. Very good music for a nice chill. I think this might be our new favorite pub! See you soon.

The Cottage Inn was a friendly, warm and homely place to stay, the couple who owned the hotel were very helpful with places to visit and local pub restaurants to have meals in the evening. The room that we stayed in was big, lovely, clean and warm, the four poster bed was very comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. There was plenty of furniture to put your belongings away and the breakfast bars are a great idea to go with the tea & coffee in the morning! We were told before we arrived that a local acoustic band were playing on one of the nights and what a fantastic evening it was, we were made to feel so welcome and the music was great to sing along to! We could not ask for more, thank you very much 🙂

Very pleasant place for a few beers this evening. Just right number of people - good atmosphere but not too crowded. Good and well observed Covid security. Great at table service by friendly staff.

Group of ten friends arrived unannounced and were made to feel most welcome, no problem fitting us in around other customers. ||Great choice of food, standard menu & daily specials, ten cleared plates & ten happy customers. ||Service with a smile, great food, and excellent value for money.
