Lovely room, stylish, spotless and very well equipped for a short stay. Only a ten minute walk to the harbour and we found a lovely tapas restaurant just over the road for dinner. Parking inside the gates was limited but this wasn’t a problem as we were able to leave the car on the road just outside. The owner sends gate and key codes prior to arrival so you let yourself in but contact and good local information is provided in the room. Would recommend.

Stayed at the Court Yard for one night. |Lovely gated property that I would expect to see in the countryside not in a town. This made the stay more special as it was different to other places so it was like I was somewhere else. On arrival the bed was so inviting that my husband got straight in it for a doze. Must admit it was very cosy and the room was lovely and we would definitely stay here again

My family and I stayed in the family room for a few nights and had such a lovely stay. The room was so spacious and incredibly clean. The temperature in the room can be put up or down which is perfect for those cold nights. It was so lovely to have tea, coffee and biscuits topped up too. We loved our stay and will never stay anywhere else when we come to visit family in Brightlingsea. The Courtyard rooms is right in the town centre, with a lovely bakers 30 seconds over the road which serves good coffee and cakes all day which is a must try. Emily and Darious are also very good at what they do, welcoming and go the extra mile. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at here.

We booked a one night stay for a friends party and from the minute of the booking to the minute we left the hosts & staff were fantastic, very friendly, helpful and went out there way to make our stay amazing. They made you feel welcome and at home we had two rooms which were spotless clean and very comfy beds and plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms also. ||The breakfast was fantastic and catered for everyone especially or kids who enjoyed every minute..... Close by shops and takeaways for anyone needing anything which was very handy. ||We can't thank our hosts enough for there kindness and also there staff Alice, ||Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back again.||DEFINITELY MORE THAN 5* FOR THIS BnB||||||From Joe and Joanne||SCOTLAND

-- Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 friends whilst attending an event close by. The Owners Darius and Emily are friendly, helpful and professional. The Rooms delightful - bed and pillows - fabulously comfortable. The small courtyard secure parking was perfect and we were able to park all 4 of our 4x4's. The only B&B that I have ever stayed in that I would eagerly return to. - Highly Highly recommended.

Always clean, comfortable, well-equipped & tastefully decorated. We've stayed here regularly over many years & appreciate the warm welcome & helpfulness of the friendly owners. Highly recommended! Brightlingsea is a special, lovely small town with a Blue Beach & good facilities for all.

We had a two night break in this delightful B and B to recuperate after a hectic few weeks over Christmas and new year. We had room two which is a twin bed room. The room had comfy beds with warm duvets and a heater which could be adjusted to suit. It isn’t a large room but perfect for a short break. It was very clean with an en-suite with a large walk in shower. The room had a hairdryer, kettle, mugs, flat screen tv, hot water bottles, extra blankets if needed, toiletries, and tea, coffee and biscuits replaced daily. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh food was sourced locally, a nice touch. We were able to use the dining room in the evening on one night for a takeaway using plates, cutlery and condiments in the breakfast room, never been to a B and B that allows that before. The breakfast room can also be used in the evenings to play board games (provided) with family or friends staying here. Such a friendly gesture. ||||Darius was a charming, friendly host who couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was a good one. Didn’t meet Emily, she was busy with her young family, but Darius did introduce us to is gorgeous new born daughter. ||||Parking in the gated courtyard was a bonus, and there is plenty of on street parking close by if the B and B is full. ||||Brightlingsea is a delightful, old fashioned town with a small beach and harbour. Lots of lovely walks along the coast or in country, well worth a visit. There are takeaways, pubs and restaurants close by to the Courtyard Rooms. Will definitely stay again in the warmer weather. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Was very impressed by this B&B. Firstly the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. The rooms themselves have an amazing charm to them which puts big brand hotel rooms to shame. The breakfast in the morning was cooked perfectly every time and the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. The Courtyard is situated in right in the Heart of Brightlinsea which itself is a lovely town and only a short walk from the sea. Will be definitely returning to the Courtyard in the future.
