Even accounting for the fact that a few hours cycling increases the deliciousness of cake, its great cake and coffee.
It feels like it is in the middle on nowhere, and the fact there is no parking leaving it to walkers and cyclists just adds to feeling of escape while on a bike ride.

Absolutely fantastic cafe that serves delicious food and great coffee. Caters brilliantly for walkers and cyclists. Really friendly service.
I can recommend the pastrami bagels with gherkins and mustard.... absolutely delicious.
Plenty of racks for your bikes and plenty of outdoor seating space.

Popped in to the Cowshed cafe today just to try it out and what a lovely place, hidden away but clearly loved by the locals, possibly the best cinnamon bun I've ever had and the pork and marmalade sausage roll was just divine. The staff are so friendly and the location on the edge of the farm was lovely, especially on a nice sunny day sat next to their orchard watching the cockerel wondering around.
What a hidden gem! We will be back, next time with friends.

Fantastic cafe surrounded by beautiful country side. Delicious cakes, sandwiches, great coffee. Amazing pit stop for the walkers and cyclist. Highly recommended.

We visited on a Thursday morning for coffee and cake. Great experience. Excellent good value coffee and cake. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed watching Eurosport cycling on the big projector screen. Nice garden area with outdoor seating. A good place to meet up with friends. We will definitely be back.
