Location and Accessibility

The hotel's position in Harrow, a suburb of London, offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere compared to the bustling city center. While not directly within the heart of London’s main attractions, it benefits from convenient transportation links. It’s approximately a 7-minute walk to Harrow & Wealdstone Underground Station, providing access to the London Underground network. Furthermore, the area is surrounded by two prominent shopping centers, offering a range of retail and dining options. This strategic location presents a balance between accessibility and a quieter environment. Guests should be aware that its position outside the immediate city center necessitates a short commute to reach some of London’s most iconic landmarks. The proximity to transportation, however, makes it a pragmatic choice for those wishing to explore the wider London area.

Details regarding specific amenities (e.g., Wi-Fi, on-site dining, business services) can be found on the hotel’s website. A notable aspect often mentioned is the room size, with some guests finding the bathrooms to be relatively small, a characteristic potentially attributable to the hotel’s historic building.

Recommendations for Prospective Guests

For individuals seeking a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in London, The Crescent Hotel presents a viable option. It’s particularly suitable for those who prioritize convenience and accessibility to transportation and shopping. However, prospective guests should be aware of the hotel’s location outside the immediate city center, which may necessitate a commute to reach certain attractions. The hotel’s Victorian charm and generally well-maintained facilities contribute to a pleasant stay. It’s advisable to book in advance, particularly during peak season, to secure the desired room type and rate. A decent place for the price. Its like a 7 min walk to the tube station plus there's two shopping centers nearby. You've got everything you need. The room was clean, beds comfortable. By my American sensibilities the bathroom was tiny. For me, the only drawback was it's not in the downtown areas of London so not the most convenient location.

This is a nice, cosy family-run hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff very friendly and kind. It is a real gem for anyone wanting to come to London and needs a clean, comfortable, well-appointed room for good value. You are only 20 minutes away from Baker Street by tube and Harrow-on-the Hill is lively and full of shops and cafes. I highly recommend this hotel. Good for business trips or trips to visit London.

We chose this hotel because it was inexpensive and well located. We were allocated the top room which was large, clean and comfortable. We were told it was their best room and whilst we were very pleased with it, it was a high climb with our suitcases even though the staff helped..extra pillows were provided. The staff were always on hand and willing to help us.

I stayed last weekend for business reasons, parking is a major issue! They need to state there’s only room for a few cars. Ringing the bell to get in and out was an absolute pain, suggestion would be give guests the code and change daily. The room it self was very dated stained carpets, cracked tiles in what they call a bathroom, shower cold and in all honesty if I could have gone without one I would’ve! Woken by guests at 1am. This is more like a hostel with a private bathroom rather than hotel, the pictures definitely don’t do it justice the place is appalling.

we chose this hotel because of it's location. Upon arrival the girl on reception tried to check us in at the same time as another couple which was all a bit confusing. She showed us to our room which was in the loft of the house so up quite a few stairs. The view of the garden was nice but the room itself was very warm. We went for our evening meal and when we got back around 10pm we had to wait for someone to let us in as you only get a key to your room.|The bed was really comfortable and it was nice and quiet.

Stayed here for one night as we were going to see Ed Sheeran and it’s the perfect location with parking!! Rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely shower!! The owner was really friendly and very helpful. He gave us local travel information and a name and number of the local taxi company. Brilliant place to put your head down for the night!!||Would definitely book to stay here again!

Most hotels check you in and you just become an anonymous statistic! At the Crescent Hotel you are greeted by name everytime you come through the front door be it by the Manager, Receptionist or indeed the Owners.|The rooms are clean and bright and fresh bath towels are provided every day with the room cleaned and the bed made. |I have actually stayed here for the past six months and it is also very pleasing to have the opportunity to chat with the other guests of an evening.|Yes it is a budget hotel but actually offers good value at a very competitive price.|Thanks to Kamel and Maria for their hospitality.
