We called to see if there was a last minute table available, they fitted us in and did not disappoint with their Roast dinners. Enormous portions and great quality with an outstanding amount and choice of vegetables. Highly recommend. Beautiful location and atmosphere

We came as a party of 10 for an impromptu late Saturday lunch. The pub was quite quiet and could accommodate a nice table for us all. We were very warmly welcomed. The decor was cute and interesting. The drinks selection was good. The menu was well priced and had both pub classics and some interesting variety. Food was not the swiftest to arrive, due to it being cooked fresh and our large party. Staff were very keen to update us on the progress of the food, which was appreciated. Everything that came out was delicious - definitely worth waiting for it to be cooked properly rather than reliance on microwaves etc.

Went for Sunday lunch, but found the food was very mediocre. I had roast beef, which amounted to two very small slices of meat. Plenty of veg though. The atmosphere and decor isn't great, but the location by the pond and Kingsley Common was brilliant.

Fab walk around a very beautiful Kingsley Common followed by a splendid Sunday roast at the Cricketers Inn. Only choice was roast beef or lamb and everyone very happy with a meal very well served and delicious. Compliments to the chef! Bar staff also very pleasant and ambience really nice. Top marks to the bloke who kept feeding the jute box; he had a smashing selection!

Wonderful food and service! Visited today with family for my sister's birthday, there was 9 of us and we all loved the food, lovely starters, fabulous roasts and burgers, very accommodating with my request of a meat free roast as I didn't fancy the vegetarian option. Also very accommodating in bringing out the birthday cake with candles lit that I had smuggled in! Friendly and helpful staff, friendly locals a great atmosphere and all in a character filled building. Would definitely recommend and I hope to visit again. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 many thanks!!
