Excellent live music venue on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. Great quality live bands with amazing friendly staff. Good choice of drinks too. Brilliant food, highly recommended.

Just visited for a drink but it's a really tidy pub with great, friendly and efficient bar staff. One of the few pubs in Crook to sell cask beer so an extra big tick from me!

Had a fantastic time with a friend having Sunday Lunch.|It was first time I had been here.|The food was home cooked and very tasty,|Had choice of large or small. Chose small and good that it was more medium sized than small.|Had Sticky Toffee pudding and asked for plenty of custard. Happy that jug was over flowing😊|The cost was inexpensive😊|Service was fantastic and friendly.|I will definitely be returning😊

We enjoyed an absolutely faultless Sunday lunch here, made all the nicer by the super-friendly staff, and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. ||Our first class main course was followed by a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding and lashings of custard (as requested). ||With a soft drink and a pot of rich coffee the bill was less than £14.||Top quality all round. Highly recommended!

We went here for a birthday morning breakfast. We really couldn’t fault it at all. I mean £6 for a full English! Talk about bargain. We’ve also been in for another meal and I had a hot beef sandwich which was lovely, nice gravy and it was huge. ||So, go here rather than the dreaded Wetherspoons, it’s much better value for money and it tastes a hell of a lot better than theirs.

Wanted something warm to eat and drink and to kill some time between appointments, wandered up the high street and came across the Crook Hotel, food was cheap so didn't expect much, but it was clean and a warm welcome .|Got so much more than we were expecting, beef baguette with homemade chips and beautiful gravy, ordered scampi campe with homemade chips, great service, tasty food, bargain price, thank goodness we didn't get to Wetherspoons. |Will highly recommend and return if I'm back in the area.

First full English breakfast after entering back into the UK and it was absolutely amazing and the service from the girls was awesome!
