A very positive experience, from reception to departure. The room was spacious and very clean. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which had a really good atmosphere. The food was amazing, with very large portions. The staff across all areas were very friendly, and welcoming. Would definitely visit again, very impressed.

My daughter and son in law just had their wedding this weekend and I can’t say enough about the crown hotel and the staff!!!! They were absolutely amazing, they made our daughter’s wedding the most beautiful special occasion imaginable!!! We are so pleased with everything they did and went out of their way for. Tony and the staff are highly recommended. The rooms are beautiful and they take the upmost care in providing special service for everyone!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!! You have made us all happy. What a great over night stay we had at the Crown hotel. We stayed as part of the autumn deal that Crown had on offer and it's really value for money. From the staff on reception, to the bar staff and waitress on the morning for breakfast, couldn't praise them enough. They were so friendly and helpful, especially Jimmy and his staff, he even very kindly gifted us his biscuits so we could have a cuppa tea following our evening out. Top service Jimmy thank you, the custard creams went down a treat. |The rooms are lovely, comfy and clean and situated in perfect location. Highly recommend and we are returning customers as we've been previously too.

We had our wedding here and it was perfect! Throughout the whole process, all the staff were amazing. The team really took all the stress out of it and everything ran so smoothly. The quality of food served for the wedding breakfast was first class. There was loads of food for the evening BBQ and I’m pretty sure we didn’t manage to finish it all, or the midnight bacon butties!! |Parking is a bit of a pain but it is what it is. There is free on street car parking nearby and you can use apps for the hotel car park or the market street parking areas so it’s straightforward. |Thanks again to the whole team, especially Tony, Tori and Lyndsey.

We came last year here as it looked nice. There was a few bits that were either tired or dirty ( cleaning standards really are not up to standard) and we had a complaint. They compensated us with vouchers, so thought we would give them a second chance. Unfortunately we will not return. Cleaning standards probably are worse, waitress manners could be less abrupt, It always looked so wonderful from the outside.

What a fantastic venue. We held an 80th birthday party here and it was perfect in every way. From the size and space of the room and garden, to the fantastic staff. We couldn’t have been looked after any better, Tori was always quick to respond to any queries and on the day itself the team were outstanding, as was the food.|Cannot recommend enough ?

This hotel is pretty good. The highlights are the breakfast quality which is fantastic and the frendliness of staff here. Rooms are quite good but slightly dated (walls, decor) and bathroom condition while not bad could be improved.

Paying for parking is strange in my opinion. Bawtry is a small place so paid parking for guests feels wrong, but free street parking can be found nearby.

We stayed at the Crown as part of a wedding close by, the hotel is average in most aspects. ||The room we were allocated, versus what we paid for was sub-standard. The saving grace was the comfy bed. ||The breakfast the following morning was extremely busy, and we waited almost 40 minutes for our breakfast to be served, although when it did finally arrive it was tasty enough. ||Great location though, with local eateries and plenty of other restaurants close by.
