Stayed here for 3 nights with our dog while I was taking part in a charity walk around Bath. Room was fab, spacious, very clean and a super comfy bed. |We ate here all 3 nights and there was plenty of choice. All meals were delicious and we had something different each time. Prices were also very reasonable. |I would also like to complement all the staff who were very friendly and efficient even when they were incredibly busy on Mother's Day.|Great place to stay and/or eat. We, and our dog, highly recommend The Crown Inn. |

Blew expectations out of the water! Honestly the room was stunning, everything was clean and new I think there’s been a recent renovation. I was so pleasantly surprised. The barmaid was so friendly and the breakfast was lovely! 10/10 can’t wait to come back. Perfect to stay just outside of Bath and then get the park and ride into town for a fun weekend. Thanks so much! We will be back! Highly recommend xxx

We stayed for one night hurt do we could attend a family funeral - very easy to get to and very welcoming after a 4 hour drive. ||We got our room key very quickly - they were so busy but they still found time for us. ||We had two rooms next to each other. There was an interlocking door which was brilliant! ||We booked a table on the advice prior to turning up- we definitely advise you to do so too as they were so busy! ||The food and drink were great- the breakfast was amazing too. ||Thank you for looking after us- we will be back very soon I’m sure and recommend anyone to stay here.

Excellent base. The rooms are huge, modern and very clean. Nice that they are all ground floor ane a separate building to pub.
Good location in that it's easy access to both Bristol and the Cotswold. Off a busy road so a little bit of noise road wise.

The food is outstanding really lovely menu great quality and delicious breakfast.

Also lovely caring friendly service from staff.

Looking for somewhere to stay as a mid way meet up and found this lovely place.
The food was lovely and the room we stayed was clean, beautiful decor with everything you need, coffee/ tea, shower gel, water, iron etc in the room but in there with an added touch, everything was spotlessly clean and will definitely book again. The staff in the pub were lovely and nothing too much trouble even to giving us a flask of milk for our drinks. Rooms are quirky and definitely worth a trip.
Really enjoyed my stay here.

Lovely welcome. The room was super. The Butcombe beer was first rate and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The thing that struck me was the service-everyone was so happy to help. I’ll definitely return-a grade A experience!

We had an impromptu family lunch here due to a combination of broken down cars and an m4 closure stuffing up our original plan.||We’ve driven past the Crown Inn many times but from now on it will now be a planned visit.||So - on to the food. It’s literally amazing - hands down the best pub food we’ve had in the south west in years.||Our table had fish and chips, the hummus and pita, a breakfast bap, soup of the day and it was all really fantastic. ||I had the pear and beetroot starter with whipped feta and it was 10/10 for presentation and flavour - easily on par with a high end restaurant.||The menu prices were £10 to £26 for mains which I felt was very reasonable given the quality of food and service.||As a Butcombe Inn there’s a small but good range of ales on draught - I had the draught alcohol free ale which was so good I had to ask the server if it was definitely non alcoholic.||Our bill was £177 including service for a party of 6 including some drinks.||We’re delighted to have stumbled across the Crown and will be back again.

We didn't stay, but we ate food here. It was absolutely gorgeous. The food was tasty and arrived quicker than expected for fresh food. The service and staff were great, really friendly. The atmosphere was really warm too, nicely welcoming.
