What a wonderful venue. We had our wedding reception here and stayed overnight. Everything was faultless. The staff were so lovely and they went above and beyond to make our day so special. The space is ideal and the rooms were so comfortable and clean. They helped create lasting memories forever. We will definitely be back again. X

Good quality of accommodation, maybe a bit pricey but was Carnival weekend. The Pub has a friendly and excellent atmosphere . Best of British pubs. Sport, events, comfortable, and the manager and staff were so helpful and took an interest in seeing we were comfortable. Overall highly recommended

Nice place with a lovely warm atmosphere and lovely decorative touches. Came by in the evening and (somewhat obviously) opted for the side of the pub that didn’t have disco lights and blasting Cher on the speakers. Overall a nice place for a pint.

We stayed at The Crown for 2 nights in July whilst we were in London for a short break.
The Crown was absolutely perfect for us. From the friendly, warm greeting from Natalie on the day we arrived to the day we departed we couldn’t find fault with anything. We enjoyed atmosphere of a pub that obviously enjoys a good ‘local’ trade while managing to provide a good service for its’ guests.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need provided or available on request. The added bonus of a fan was a real plus as the nights were still warm.
We were warned about noise from the bar but it didn’t actually disturb us at all and the traffic noise is at a level you would expect in a busy area of London.
We thoroughly enjoyed the diversity of the area.
Hackney has undergone a resurgence since the days when I was a student nurse here but it has still retained its East End charm and character. There are a couple of excellent cafes close by and if we had had more time we would have happily explored further. Narrow Kitchen and Paelette are both deservedly well reviewed, especially for breakfast/brunch.
Transport to central London is fast and easy, even late at night, via tube and overground rail.
The Crown is very good value for money and we will definitely stay again when we return to London.

You will not find a more welcoming place anywhere else in London. Serena was a brilliant host and we’ll definitely be back at The Crown next time we’re in town.

The rooms were spacious, spotless and great value for money. If I could give The Crown 6 stars, I would.

A great atmosphere quite traditional. We only went for a drink we don't stay in the rooms. Would go back again.

Cant comment on rooms as only went to the pub - and what a fantastic pub it is! Went out for food locally (they dont serve food but you can bring food purchased outside back and eat it) - then went back to the Crown for a few more drinks before heading home! Would highly recommend!
