Lovely little café with a contemporary trendy style. Outdoor seating and tables with open air gazebo and decking and seats on the lawn too. Cute fairy lights and blankets indoors which you can take outside. Nice little place to stop by for a coffee and a (large!) cake after a walk round the nearby nature reserve.

Unfortunately after driving an hour to get here, on our way to Eastbourne, we arrived just before midday (so not quite lunchtime), to find that even though the venue was half empty, they were not able to take any orders. Not even drinks! Let alone food. Which meant huge disappointment for the family. It is a wonderful venue, in terms of the views, but honestly not worth the drive given the inability to provide a service. I won’t be back as the risk of not being served isn’t worth taking.

We will definitely be returning! We arrived at midday on Sunday without a booking, just hoping for a cake and coffee, and were greeted by a welcoming waitress. We had our medium/ large dog with us also but they didn’t seem fazed at all. We sat outside with a lovely heater and blankets, and ordered some hot drinks and picked some delicious cakes. The atmosphere was nice and chill and friendly. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for having us The Deer Park.

A magical find close to Tunbridge Wells. Nice rural location with indoor and outdoor seating. Fantastic hot chocolate and latte and a beautiful chocolate caramel brownie. Super friendly service. Highly recommend a visit.

I had a coffee and a suggested by the waiter cake in my way cycling from London to Eastbourne and it was delicious and lovely for a chilling stop and sugar booster after the second half! ( It's Just middle way !)

The most delicious breakfast on bank holiday Monday, sat outside in lovely surroundings. We were advised it would be about a 25min wait for drink or food which was ok but our order (2 breakfasts with tea) took 50mins+ which made our onward plans difficult. Great to be advised of a delay but better to under promise and over deliver (say it will be an hour so guests can decide) Other guests being turned away as it approached lunchtime, so they could catch up. Once again I will say it’s the BEST breakfast! Just expect to wait a while for it.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Deer Park Café today! The roast dinner was amazing! The vegetables were beautifully cooked and seasoned.. and the surroundings were stunning.. there is outdoor seating available, which is perfect in this hot weather. Highly recommend a visit!! Parking available. It got very busy while we were there, so probably best to book a table.
