A nice and homy pub. We ordered coffee and tea and could refill it for free. We took a lunch deal; a drink was included. The pub is easy accessible for people with a disability.

Another 'spoons a bit out of the way, but not too difficult to get to. A bit brighter and more modern than your 'class' dark wood spoons. A long thin pub with the bar on your left as you walk in. Outdoor seating at the front and back when the weather smiles on us. As usual the staff were excellent and cheerful and the breakfast was as wonderful as always. The Guinness was excellent.

Foods plastic microwaved. Cold and portion size was crap. Sorry but honesty is best policy. They gave me a table spoon of beans. They said that's there portion. They came to the table with 4 bowls of beans for the breakfasts and apologised.. they knew they were saving opening anything tin of beans because it was coming towards the end of breakfast maybe I don't know. But that was wrong.

I am being carb free at the moment and wanted to swap hash browns for a sausage or bacon. The manager Morgan, who served me, informed me in a unprofessional manner that they don't swap meat for non meats. I week before was not a problem. It wasn't so much they didn't do the swap(although, good customer service would allow it) it was his attitude towards the situation and me. Food was mediocre and a bit cold.

I normally give 5 stars to Wetherspoons Pubs, but this loses a star for the food. Not bad food but I have the Large Mixed Grill at each Wetherspoons I go to, so can compare directly. Here the Grilled Meat Mix/Quantity and Quality wasn't as good as others I've been to. Service was good and quick. This place seems to be more of a drinkers pub with several noisey groups when I was there.

Excellent spoons always delivers on value. Good food decent price. Staff are always helpful. Never a long wait.
Lad and his Mrs kicking off last time I was in but was sorted by staff quickly and efficiently.

We walked in having a meal and couple of drinks. I was with my two daughters. We went directly to the bar to purchase some drinks. There were a few people there and one of the staff was talking to his colleagues. He was telling them that the cooler had broken down, well that was the gist of the conversation as it was tangled with many expletives that it was hard to understand. All in front of the customers.
Then it went downhill even further I ordered a Real Ale, my first sip was disappointing to say the least, it had a sour aftertaste. I had another couple to make sure it was not my taste buds. I returned the pint to the bar where one member of staff tasted a drop from the pump. He said it tasted OK but would pour me another. I said I was not convinced and asked for a different beer, which fair play to him he obliged. I went back to our table with a view to ordering our food. Taking a sip of my new pint it had the same sour taste as the first. My girls drank their drinks and we retired to one of your rivals where I enjoyed a couple of excellent beers, more expensive though.
I can honestly say that in all my years drinking in your establishments, this is the first time I have felt let down by you.
Please sell the place before it impacts on you in a very negative fashion.
I had to give the pub one star to allow me to write this review but it is not even deserving of that.
Sorry Wetherspoons but you need honesty to retain, what in my opinion, is a wonderful reputation.
The spend per person would have been more but...., and of course we would have returned, but not now.

It's a pretty typical wetherspoons experience with the quality and range of food and drink. Has a good amount of seating. The staff were very helpful and chatty which I consider and good thing.
