I’m not sure where to start but this place is a very special find and one that I wholeheartedly believe you need to go to see for yourself.|From the moment you arrive you are greeted with friendly staff who just want your experience to be the best. We upgraded our room and we had the ‘Aubrey’ room on the first floor facing the front which was a pure indulgence adorned by opulent furnishings and a very comfortable bed. It was clean and luxurious. We paid for the breakfast which was a delightful menu and unlike most places was waitress served which was lovely and added to the experience of being looked after. Our first evening we had street food in the Maxi bar in the garden - again a haven of pure delight seemingly run by an experienced barman specialising in some of the best cocktails we have had. We had the most heavenly food in the restaurant the second night which is an absolute must go to if you are in town! Overall I cannot rate this place highly enough if you’re looking for somewhere different, alright it might be a little pricier than other options but it’s worth every penny. We loved it and I’m certain you will too!

Such a pleasure to stay here, everyone who works there goes over and above to make you welcome. Great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, relaxing lounge with real fire. The food was fabulous, small but perfectly formed menu. Will definitely be back. Only took a star off the room as the posh kettle was tricky for us!!!

This boutique hotel offers everything you'd expect: set back from the high street within lovely grounds, luxurious rooms, excellent food, and a great drink selection. The staff, particularly Daniela, are exceptional.||Located in Bourton-on-the-Water, the hotel is superbly situated with on-site parking and a secluded atmosphere despite being near the town center. We stayed in the beautifully decorated room, Oscar, enjoyed a drink in the stylish lounge, and had exceptional breakfasts and dinner. My husband, who is coeliac and requires gluten-free meals, was very well catered for. While early morning delivery noise from nearby shops was noticeable, it didn’t detract from our experience, and we would happily stay again.

My husband and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary by visiting Bourton on the Water in the Cotswold and staying at the charming Dial House. It truly was a beautiful and elegant hotel. The weather during our stay in the UK was on the chilly side (morning temps below 50 degrees) and intermittently rainy. Upon our arrival at the Dial House on June 3nd there was an inviting fire lit in the fireplace which immediately made us feel so at home. The breakfast offerings were wonderful and made to order: sourdough toast topped with Eggs Benedict and more…delicious! We also enjoyed their lunch and dinner menus. Our ground floor room was small but gorgeous and looked out onto the back garden…lovely! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. One night after we had dinner in the dining room they brought us our dessert and coffee out to the front courtyard…lovely! The village of Bourbon on the Water was beautiful with lovely cafes, pubs and shops. We enjoyed taking the four mile loop walk that encompassed several nearby quaint villages in the area…beautiful! Visiting the Cotswold was wonderful and our stay at the Dial House made it was truly a memorable experience! ||Lillian & Jonathan

They love their guests! We were well cared for before and during our stay, given complimentary appetizers (prawn and pork toasts were wonderful!) and just well cared for in general. I’m not generally a fan of hanging out in the public spaces but the interior was so cozy and stocked with interesting things to read I lingered in front of the fire for hours! So impressed.

Amazing location, in the heart of BotW. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast was fantastic. Great hot and cold options, variety and so much of it. Dinner was also great- small menu but delicious! The staff all went out of their way to help, wished us an umprompted happy anniversary in the restaurant and left a special token for us in the room as well. It was a great stay!

The smallest room I’ve stayed in for a very long time. Couldn’t swing a cat. A tiny shower cupboard. Staff went home at 6pm and turned the lights off. No service. No food. Effectively just a very expensive B&B. For what you get, this is hugely overpriced. On the positive side, it is a lovely building (except the derelict tepee in garden) in a fantastic location. The breakfast was fresh and well cooked and the waitress does a great Dell Boy posh accent imitation.
