The Rookery is a purpose built family size property. It is about 6 years old, has 9 en-suite bedrooms (all beautifully proportioned), a large superbly equipped kitchen (though we couldn't find egg-cups!), spacious seating area and a games room. Loads of parking outside - and a barbeque, lots of seating, and a football pitch!|Over the many years we have holidayed as a large family (about 20 of us), this has to be the best venue we have found.|Incidentally, the picture featured on this review site is the B&B house, not the Rookery, which is on a separate access track.|The B&B is excellent too. We stayed in both, one after the other.

Stayed here as a friend was getting married across the road at the astbury. Was so impressed with the room we stayed in, it was clean, spacious and modern with lovely views from the windows! Breakfast was amazing and the the two lovely people that ran the b&b were wonderful hosts, extremely welcoming and helpful. Would 100% return and would also recommend!

To Karen and Leanne. Thank you for presenting Rookery Cottage in such a fine state, and for all the anniversary decorations that you had erected. The unexpected welcoming cakes were most enjoyable. It all made our family celebration really special. This was a 60th wedding family anniversary celebration for 14 of us. We first discovered Rookery Cottage on Google Maps. It is a lovely spacious modern cottage comprehensively equipped and set in splendid countryside.

Our daughter was getting married locally, and we chose to stay in one of the cottages at The Dinney. We stayed in a 3 bed cottage which was so well equipped with everything we needed and was extremely clean and the views from the front and the back were breathtaking. We were well looked after and wouldn't hesitate to go there again and would highly recommend ❤️

We stayed in the Rookery over the Easter weekend as a family party of 18 with an age range from 1 to 71. We all loved the house and it was perfect for our stay - very spacious, private, comfortable, immaculate, tastefully decorated, modern and really well maintained. Everything was a high standard. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and each has an ensuite with good showers - lovely toiletries too. We were welcomed with two delicious cakes and also bowls of little Easter eggs - such a nice touch. There is plenty of outdoor space and the view over the reservoir and fields is beautiful.We enjoyed using the gas barbecue and the outdoor table tennis and it was great to be able to walk down to the reservoir. We must also mention the football field and the extra living room with table football - all in all there was something for everyone and we are all hoping we can make a return visit.We never got round to visiting other places in the area as it was so lovely just to be in the Rookery!

A group of us stayed for the weekend while attending a wedding nearby. The accommodation was gorgeous, so clean and rooms were immaculate. Hosts were so welcoming and made sure we had all the necessities. Would love to visit again

Stayed in Rookery cottage - fabulous place. Super bedrooms, all en-suite with walk-in shower. Great kitchen/dining area and very well equipped. Games room so those who wanted to could watch sport on tv without disturbing others. Spacious outdoor patio with gas bbq and lovely views. All in all a really fantastic holiday cottage. We all loved it so much we have booked to go again in March 2025.||An added bonus is that there are a lot of places to visit within easy reach of Dinney farm cottages.

Amazing location, brilliant for a big group. We were a group of 15 adults, a baby, and two dogs and it was perfect. They have thought of close to everything. There’s an unending supply of crockery and drinkware, two hobs, two ovens, two separate grills, two dishwashers, a BBQ outside…

The rooms were perfect, with en suites and views of the rolling hills and farmlands. The nearby walks were lovely. There’s even a car charging point (obviously paid for) which is so helpful as it is isolated. We all thought as a group we’d probably come back again, maybe even twice a year. Overall, amazing place for a big group.
