A hidden gem.

Driving through Fareham on the main road you don’t realise how much history the place has. There are some lovely buildings and this cafe is located within the Cams Hall estate. They have got the balance of rural, industrial and grade 2 listed spot on.

Our sausage, cheddar & red onion chutney warm baguettes were superb and great value at £6.30. Add in a decent coffee and a cheeky bit of cake - not a bad lunch at all.

We will definitely be coming back.

A quiet, end of their day Sunday but still smiles and friendly service. Ordered a cappuccino and a slice of rocky road. Both tasty. Sid (my dog) even got a little bowl of sausage. Will definitely return soon. Great pit stop after a good walk around the coastal path.

Been meaning to visit for ages as I’ve heard lots of good things and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were really nice and the food was lovely at such a reasonable price. The Veggie Muffin was filling and very yummy. The atmosphere and decor was good whether your upstairs, downstairs or outside. Lots of parking marked with a Dovecote sign. You can book or turn up on the day. We turned up just after opening on a Sunday and there were plenty of tables free. Will be definitely coming back!

This was our first visit to The Dovecoat Eatery on a busy Thursday before Easter. The staff were super friendly and efficient and all the food was lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit and we will be going back again very soon.

Shannon was absolutely lovely, she made me feel welcome and settled as well as recommended food/drinks which was greatly appreciated. I’ll be back again, lovely staff as a whole but she stood out. Beautiful location and menu.

I've had very positive experiences here. The dirty fries are lovely but I was disappointed today as previously I had changed the chorizo for bacon. This time they couldn't accommodate. Don't really understand as bacon is probably cheaper than chorizo and I didn't ask for a really expensive alternative.

I used to love this place .. but sorry this new screen to order food is awful. So impersonal trying to be a fast food place . Just because a modern idea is invented does not mean its a good idea. Sorry.
