This was our very first experience in Northern Ireland. Straight off the ferry and to the accommodation. We chose this cottage after seeing images|| and reviews on Airbnb, the Facebook page and owners own website. We didn't book through airbnb, but the owner offered it privately. Upon arrival, we couldn't even identify the cottage and the grounds were full of seemingly broken machinery and odds and ends were strewn in the fields we were led to believe our dogs could exercise in. Also within the grounds are a field of sheep, no mention of livestock anywhere, and owner says its a working farm, this isn't stated anywhere. Not the kind of place we would take dogs to. ||The owner admits the front door is problematic, and has moss / mould on it. There was evidence of damp and no way was there an enhanced clean. ||We politely told the owner we wouldn't be staying and our reasons why. He wasn't bothered. ||Upon asking for the return of our deposit, he embarked on a ping pong of emails, and asked for my telephone number, he had never asked before, and we declined after seeing the emails. He asked us to clarify points, which we did and after a few days of this, his inaccuracies, and us challenging, he stopped communication, so one would assume he is keeping the deposit. ||||This has caused us so much stress and based on our opinion, and our experience here, we would not recommend. ||||Here are our photos

Amazing place and very nice hosts that were very available and helpful. The garden is just a piece of heaven and I recommend taking some time to have a stroll through it and just relax.

Loved staying at the Dreen annex! So much room and great value for the cost! Loved the observatory and walking the pond! The owners are very sweet!
