The Duchy is a wonderful local pub with lovely staff. Easily the best beer garden in the area, you should spend all summer there. Recommend the mussels marinière and the cheap pints.

Also get to the quiz on the Wednesday, it’s good fun and I can confirm the same team does not win every week.

Great pub, had a fantastic evening here, Christopher and Sarah were so hospitable and had some great chat as well. The variety on the bar is great and the beers are cheap. A nice big venue with a large garden and a pool table. Good tunes too. Will definitely be back.

A hidden gem in the heart of Vauxhall 🤍 just had a lovely Sunday here the music, vibes and drinks were 10/10. Definitely by far, the best roast I’ve had in London for ages! The service is excellent and the staff are so attentive and friendly. Adam in particular, welcomed us as soon as we came in and kept a check in on us now and again, you could tell he has a great way with people, this shines through his customer service. Can’t believe after 15 years in south London, I’ve just come across this gem but will definitely be making it a regular!

We seriously can not rave about this place enough! Jess and Zach truly made our first trip to London a homey experience. We stayed upstairs and made sure to spend all three nights hanging out with them! Jess went out of her way to ensure we had the best experience and we are so sad to go home! Compliments to all the staff!

I had my birthday lunch here on a Sunday at 3pm. I wanted a really good roast and good atmosphere and this pub exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding, I was blown away. I had roast beef. Meat was cooked to perfection, delicious potatoes, veg and the Yorkshire puddings were on point. Not only fantastic food but the service from start to finish was incredible. I went in person to book, they were accomodating, helped me choose a nice table. When we arrived on the day, the table was already laid and looked beautiful. We had a drink outside while we looked over the menu, then went inside for our food. Nothing was a problem, all the staff were 'can do' attitude and just very friendly and kind. I would highly recommend and will be coming back in the future. All my family were impressed and it was a great day. Thank you.

It started off really well at the Duchy Arms. We arrived at 1, got drinks, sat down and ordered food. The food arrived promptly, and looked good when it did. We finished our meals and asked if we could take the leftovers home with us - this caused some puzzled looks. The manager then came over, also confused, and we said again that we'd like to take the leftovers away with us. The original waiter then comes back and asks a third time what we wanted, and then informs us that it was too late, as they had thrown it away. This was followed by the manager then telling off a member of staff on the restaurant floor for a mistake they had made - all in front of customers. Value for money was great - service left something to be desired.

Very good burger, chips and salad with very reasonably priced good wine. Atmosphere a little quiet but it was early on a Tuesday evening. The most remarkable thing was the amazing friendly, professional, interested service from Josephine (assistant manager) and Katie, manager. Thoroughly recommend for the service alone.
