Just had the pleasure of experiencing a (surprise) birthday private chef experience by Jack of The Duck House Pantry Catering at our gorgeous holiday cottage in beautiful Beadnell. Jack was polite, engaging, discreet and above all an amazing chef. He prepared a number of beautiful dishes which were enjoyed by our party ranging from 8 to 78 years of age. The food was so tasty, beautifully presented and so filling, just managed to leave room for the amazing desserts! I wish I could rate Jack as more than 5 stars, as the experience was truly world class.

We organised an intimate dinner party with a group of close friends and we asked Jack and his team to cater for us that evening. From the planning at the start, the design of the menu, and to the actual dinner party, Jack and his team (big shout out to Melissa!) did a brilliant job, everything ran smoothly and everyone had a great 3 course meal. Will highly recommend to people who wish to organise a dinner party with a private chef.

If you are looking for wedding catering you can stop looking. Jack and the team from The Duck House Pantry created the most incredible family style feast for us. It was exactly what we wanted in terms of high calibre, restaurant worthy food delivered in a casual and intimate way. We asked for some bespoke items such as the way we did our vegan and vegetarian food (whole roast cauli's in the most amazing spice mix!) and having two types of carpaccio (beef and beetroot). People didn't stop raving about our food (they still haven't) and it lived up to our guests expectations (we throw a mean dinner party). The service the whole time was incredible - we organised our north east wedding from far overseas and Melissa in the office couldn't do enough to support us to have it exactly how we wanted.

The whole team was accomodating, kind and professional (even covered in a cloud of midges at our very remote venue). They nailed outside catering and everything was the right temperature and delicious. My only regret is that I didn't take a single picture of our meal because it was also beautiful!!

I'll be recommending The Duck House Pantry to everyone, for any size event. Thank you Jack, Melissa and team - you are literally superstars!!

Absolutely fantastic. Booked a private birthday dinner and it has to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. Jack and Suzanne, were amazing, the food was spectacular and they were both happy to chat and help. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting either a large or small event to have amazing food.

Jack and his staff did a private diner for us in our home. It was for 8 people, and the whole thing was lovely. The menu was varied and the food was delicious. Melissa was my contact person, Gary was the chef and Carole was the server. Everyone was really nice, and Gary and Carole arrived exactly on time. They cooked in our kitchen, waited on us and cleared up, all done beautifully.
