Lovely welcoming pub we had great overnight stay. The people were lovely and the food was outstanding. I will be going back in June . Highly recommend this pub B&B xx

We went for dinner and it was the highlight of our holiday, from the moment we walked in everyone was so friendly. The chef came out to meet our dog and hand fed him chicken which was above and beyond. The food was brilliant and so tasty as well as huge portions. We had arrived late and the chef even rustled us up a starter of garlic prawns. We wish we lived nearer so we could go every week. 5 stars is not enough !

Pleasant stay at good value for money inn. Spacious room although warm weather made it rather hot during the day and night. Window was difficult to keep open.
Staff were friendly and generally helpful.
Short walk to town centre with good eating places.

Went on one of there organized morning dog walks. We all had a great time came back to the pub after the walk and the pooches and there hoomans had breakfast. The breakfast was 10/10. Think the pooches would give there's 10/10 as well. Will definitely be back for the next one 😁

My wife and I stayed one night at The Dyvels in September 2024 while exploring Hadrians Wall on our way back to York.

We were both really pleasantly surprised by how charming the Inn is. Corbridge is a lovely little town with, obviously, ancient history. None of that charm has been lost gladly. Dyvels is a small cozy pub with 5 lodging rooms and a tranquil garden, but the best part was the food which was WAY better than a small pub in a small Northumbrian town has any business being.

We had dinner, fish n chips for me, and a chicken dish for Mrs M. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, but with such incredible flavour. It was bone fide fancy restaurant quality, not pub grub. Full Northumbrian breakfast next morning was huge, tasty and set us up proper for a long drive.

It was a really quiet Wednesday when we were there. No other lodging guests and a small handful of locals in the pub, so service was super quick. It was really quiet and relaxing, enjoying the fresh air dining out in the garden. Had a little chat with the bar staff. Very friendly, but not particularly talkative; shame as I always like to chat with locals when travelling to get a sense of life in another part of the world.

Overall I'm really glad we chose to stop at Dyvels Inn and Corbridge. It's a fantastic little corner of our brilliant little island. I'd love to spend more time here. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys history, good food, fresh air and the tranquility of wide open spaces.

Popped in for food, good selection & tasty. Busy bussling small pub. Great service. Recommend

The pub has five hotel rooms that are very comfortable. The bathroom could use a lick of paint, but everything was functional and clean. The breakfast is store bought, but everything one would want is there and you can order a nice warm breakfast as well. Very friendly service.

Came in on the bank holiday weekend, fantastic service and food was amazing. The Chef came out to greet and check things were okay, (you could tell he knew it was) 😀 . All prepared by himself, and hats off to him, probably the best we have had for a while. We came back again for drinks on the Sunday to see him again bringing out his dishes to guests, not the usual chef that hides ouf the back. 10/10 will be back and definitely recomend to others
