The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was spotless and very quiet even though the B&B is right in the centre of lovely Berwick-upon-Tweed. The breakfast was outstanding. What can I say? A perfect location to explore fantastic countryside and picture postcard beaches.

From the minute you arrive, Shirley and her team make you feel like part of the family. Chatty but not intrusive, great cooked breakfast, tips for bars and eateries and as handy for town, parking and access to the walls as you could ask.||||You can easily see why Shirley has so many regular/repeat guests. If we go back to Berwick, we will try here first

The Elizabethan Town House is an outstanding place to stay in Berwick upon Tweed! Shirley, the proprietor, goes out of her way to make your stay truly memorable. Her B&B is sparkling clean and well provided. She is friendly and helpful about what to do, there, and what to see. The breakfasts are outstandingly delicious, tailored to your exact needs and desires. We cannot recommend this place highly enough! The Elizabethan Town House is the best!!!

Great B&B. Super clean, really central. Lovely owner and lovely lady who does breakfasts.||And lovely breakfasts. Great place to stay. And you must walk the walls to see the Berwick-upon-Tweed at its most beautiful.

clean and comfortable,made to feel very welcome.nothing too much trouble. Shirley full of useful information. Very good breakfast, right next to the town.||Ground floor room available which is good for people with walking problems.||Plenty of parking in carpark just next to guest house.

A nice guest house, very welcoming and friendly. The parking is good with a car park next door and long stay parking free. The car park may be busy at peak times because I believe that local people leave their cars overnight. The guest house was very clean, and we would definately stay here again.

Stayed over one night. Has indoor storage for bikes and room was very clean. Turn rad up or down to reach your preferred temp. Owner and staff were extremely kind helpful. suggested local micro brewery and restaurants to visit. Breakfast was delicious and served at time to suit ourselves.

As bed and breakfast guest houses go, the Elizabethan Town House is hard to beat at the price. From the friendly welcome to the bright breakfast room, our stay was a pleasure and we enjoyed two very good nights' sleep.
