Had a great evening here. Very clean. Friendly staff, most of them knew what they were doing, some of them didn't seem to have a clue, maybe bar work just isn't for them.
The live music was ok. Great place to visit

We came into The Evs in Corby after our doctors appointment and we were feeling thirsty, We decided to go to the bar and ordered our Pepsi Max and the staff were very kind and attentive. Our glass came with ice and it was delicious. There was a nice range of seats which was appreciated, we sat next to the pool table and it was quite quiet when we came over but we had a lovely time. We wanted to have some lunch here but when we enquired if the restaurant was open and it wasn't, which was disappointing but we want to come back again to try their food out.

Service not so good and dodgy. I ordered a Jameson whiskey with an original coke and asked twice if it was definitely an original cola, I was told it was. The lady went somewhere and brought a glass of whiskey. Why didn't she pour that whiskey in front of me behind the bar? She then added "Original Coke". When I tried this drink, I thought I was going to throw up. Original Coca was definitely not original (I can't drink soda with sweeteners) and the whiskey was definitely not Jameson. I definitely question the competence of the staff behind the bar and I wonder if the owner knows about it.

Not nice calling yourself dog friendly pub, took 45 mins on foot to get to this place with friend for a drink with our dogs and was refused entrance, due too many people... We saw there was couple tables free outside in the garden and our dogs are two well mannered dogs, would not do any harm to anyone for sure.... Went to town center and had no problem being seated in another busy pub, so will not recommend and not return.

Had lunch out today at Everard Arm's,gotta say it was lovely went with the Steak pie, can't beat it..the pie was lovely with the choice of chips or mash and pea's.. can't complain about anything 5stars well earned. Others in my party had the pie,and the scampi too..The starters were parsnip soup and breaded mushroom's with garlic mayo, fantastic. Would definitely recommend these meal's.
