A fabulous position just off the M1.
Absolutely amazing family run place.
The staff have been fantastic, and they couldn't have been any more helpful if they tried..

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE EVERYWHERE AND IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING..!!!
I would recommend this place to EVERYONE, and I will be putting it on social network wheelchair accessible sites, too

Perfect 💯% so far, just need to sample the food in the restaurant. Looks and smells amazing..
Menu selection is fab too 😋

The fairway has recently undergone a total renovation. Beautiful rooms with comfy beds and pillows. 2 chairs in the room and a large bathroom with big waterfall shower.

Observations:

- Modern renovations with modern fixtures
- Large accessible bathroom with waterfall shower
- Large 43inch TV
- Lift access to all rooms

Cons:

- No aircon

We stayed for a couple of nights whilst up for a family wedding. I had read the very negative reviews on here and was a little 😟 worried. Thankfully, no need we received a very warm, friendly welcome 🙏. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower 🚿 was lovely. |This hotel has been completely refurbished to a very good standard. We ate in the pub both evenings again great freindly service and fab food. We'll be staying again.

Came here for the New Year's Eve Great Gatsby Dinner Dance. We had a great night. Lovely 4 course meal, nicely decorated function room with table decorations, Christmas crackers, party hats and table favours. The fireworks display and bacon sandwiches at midnight were very nice. Everything came out on time no waiting. We had 3 hotel rooms. The newly refurbished rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. The disabled accessible room was still waiting to be refurbished but was nice, clean and spacious. Would be good to have twin beds or a pull out bed in the disabled room as not everyone wants to share a bed with a friend or carer. Had a very nice continental and cooked breakfast the next morning and all the staff are friendly and helpful. It was well worth the money!

We stayed here for the New Year's Eve Great Gatsby Dinner Dance. We had a great night, good atmosphere and everyone got dressed up in 1920's/Great Gatsby outfits! |The Bluebell Suite function room was nicely decorated with table decorations,christmas crackers, party favours and party hats. We had a lovely 4 course meal with a glass of bucks fizz followed by a disco and then a fireworks display and bacon or vegetarian sausage sandwiches at midnight and everything was served on time, no waiting. The Bluebell Suite is in a separate building across from the hotel so bring an umbrella incase of bad weather. |There is a lift to all floors of the hotel and the newly refurbished rooms are very nice, modern and clean. The disabled accessible room was spacious with enough room to accommodate a wheelchair but it had a double bed so maybe would be better to have twin beds in there or a pull out bed as some people may not want to share a bed with a friend, family or a carer.|We had continental and cooked breakfast the next morning in the hotel restaurant which was very nice and we weren't waiting long for it to be served. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was well worth the money and we will come back. Glad we didn't listen to the negative reviews!

*** Beware***fake charges and shocking customer service! ||I would recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. After a quick over night stop over. Arriving at 7pm and leaving at 10am. To our surprise we received an email charging us for missing coat hangers. We took one overnight hold-all bag and didn’t even use the wardrobe. We arrived and left in same clothes. We called them, to be told that the person who answered on reception had carried out the audit on the room and these hangers were there and were missing when we left. We disputed this and were advised this would be passed to||Management and CEO. We called a few days later asking for an updated to be told manager would called. Third time we called , managed to speak to the manager who told me the policy to charge for missing items.. again explained we did not use or even open the wardrobe doors. She replied they have no doors! I said well there you go we didn’t even notice this as we didn’t use it and literally just slept there. She talked over me to the point I had to tell to be quiet and listen to my complaint. I told her I didn’t like to be accused of stealing and made out to be a liar and that I believe her staff have incorrectly carried out the audit on room. When I asked how many hangers were missing she said all of them which was 5. I asked that she checked her CCTV as she would see no way we could fit 5 hangers in our bag and that we arrived and left in same clothes. When I said customer service was shocking and if this was not resolved then I would be living a negative review she changed her attitude and would carry out an investigation on staff and escalate to CEO. Now this charge was £12.50 and I sure a manager could resolve this easier. I advised her that I believe as we got this on a last minute cheap deal they have charged anything they could to make the room rate up. She said she would call us back. AGAIN still waiting another week and no answer!!! Shocking customer service and ridiculous replies to solving our issue!!! Ate in the bar and food was very basic and a bit greasy. Chips like cardboard with lots of small scrappy bits. Would expect better for the prices.

Eat here every few weeks for the Sunday carvery. Food very good, pub clean and good decor. Staff friendly and helpful. Large car park. We love it.

Booking.com and Fairview Hotel you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Yes, the Hotel is being refurbished, we were made aware kitchen was closed but not that major building works were in progress. Thanks for a nice birthday not.
