Thoroughly enjoyed our night stay. Compact room (it is an old building after all!) but really nice standard. Good bar and great breakfast. Perfect location as a short walk to the center of town. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great one night stay along with 2 friends, our room was upgraded which was a nice surprise, very clean comfortable room my wife wanted to bring the pillows home. We both slept very well.||One small thing in the bathroom its needs a handrail at the end of the bath not just one in the middle as I slipped getting out of the bath despite the non slip mat. Luckily I did not hurt myself beyond a bruise.||We did attend the happy hour for the cocktails but the service was a bit slow as only one barman was on duty and he had quite a few cocktails to make. So maybe in that hour an extra bar person would help. ||Breakfast, my full English was all very good quality and cooked beautifully but let down by only having Flora and no butter portions. ||Overall a great stay with parking on site at £12 ||We will be back in the near future.

We'd booked a classic for a two-night stay under their Feb offer (did the same last year, enjoyed it then) and were delighted to find we'd been upgraded to a junior suite in the Woodmill building behind. It was lovely, big comfortable bed, nice bathroom (albeit down a short step) and plenty of room. Parking just outside round a tight turn! Only downside was a 'banging pipes' noise which occurred several times during both evenings. Hotel couldn't fix it in between but did recompense us with an extra drinks voucher!|Cooked breakfasts were mostly good, buffet choices - especially the bread - were a bit thin (because it was a Feb midweek?); cocktails were again served with aplomb by Tia; desk staff were really nice and friendly, gave us great tip to eat the second evening at Cafe du Soleil just a few yards away (which included yet another free drink on a voucher!).|The Falstaff is a lovely place to stay, so handy for everything in Canterbury (which is why it's £12.30 to park there per day). It's just a teensy bit shy of a 5 rating though.

Loved it! Great hotel in a good location. The room was clean and really comfortable with pretty well everything you could ask for. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and the price was reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thanks so much to everyone there!

Had a one night break here and were warmly greeted by Jodie who had great local knowledge. The room was clean and comfortable. It was lovely to be able to enjoy the cocktail bar and then head straight up to the room. Breakfast was also good quality. Great location. Would stay again.

Great stay. Lovely Junior Suite, very clean good size room, big comfy bed and tasty breakfast. Parking was perfect despite additional cost(£12.30). Bit understaffed at breakfast although you have to book a time you still wait for table Not a big issue and was fresh tasty

Room is very nice. The cost double was bigger than expected. Bed comfortable and bedding good quality not that much sleep is possible. Room 30 is on the bottom floor, next to a smoking area and between two pubs on the main road into Canterbury. I understand it’s a pub on a Saturday night and you should expect some noise, but the room isn’t cheap and desperately needs secondary and even tertiary glazing to even start to get after the noise.

Always love staying at this hotel. Good location for the train station and my favourite bar is a few minutes away. We had breakfast as well which was tasty but coffees are extra. We did however get woken up by a fire alarm and no one was about and then someone appeared 10/20 minutes after the alarm stopped so that was a little worrisome. But will always stay here
