The views are wide open and beautiful. Our main problem was NO HEAT and there was frost on the ground. When my husband complained to the cleaning lady the next morning she said the owner controls the heat from the restaurant kitchen which wasn't in operation - looked like they used it to store linens. |As we were leaving the owner drove up and when I complained we had no heat he said they used to get the energy from the Russians but now it was so expensive. He didn't offer an apology or give us any compensation. |Also, the apartment is on three levels. The living/kitchen is below ground, the bathroom on the entry level and the bedroom upstairs. Not good for anyone with mobility issues or who need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

What an amazing place, farm, experience with super friendly people: Gemma, Nikki helped us turn last weekend’s birthday celebration into a unique memory! The duplex appartments are just beautiful, overlooking a green valley and farm. Cockerels and chicken roaming free. Incredible place. Can’t recommend it enough!! THE onsite restaurant: Trough is great too! (Only suggestion is to improve wine selection) THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😘😘

Loved it, this has been one of my most relaxing/enjoyable nights away while travelling with work. Warm, cosy and comfortable, all the facilities you could need, nice touches like fresh milk in the fridge, and a little Christmas tree (my visit was in December). If I'm ever needing a place to stay in the area again this will be my first point of call!

We recently booked all five cottages for a family wedding and were extremely pleased with the high standard of the accommodation in what is a very peaceful setting with stunning views.|All our guests found the cottages very comfortable and well equipped. The interiors were fabulous and ideal for such a special occasion. The staff were very friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Selecting the Farmyard proved to be an excellent decision.|The nearby Trough restaurant, which is part of the same farm complex, was well used by the guests over the weekend. It was the perfect location for Sunday lunch for the bridal party and friends; the food was first class. Lindsey and her staff were most attentive, she has a calm and professional manner and made us feel very much at home.

Lovely escape outside of Yeovil, and the centre is walkable (as long as you don't mind a bit of a hill!) The apartment was stunning, laid out really well with space to work, eat, relax and sleep. The views are stunning and it is enough out of the way to really be anywhere you imagine! the staff were super helpful and allowed me to access early because of train strikes and the apartment had everything you could want. Extremely clever design and an amazing shower and bed. Thank you 🙂

Just left after enjoying a 1 night stay on the way home from our trip in Cornwall. Really easy smooth check in through a code pad. The farmyard apartments are spacious and have everything you could possibly want and more. Smart Tv, really decent WiFi, generous amounts of sachets for hot drinks, even fresh milk! The apartment was clean, not to mention the lovely bedding & extra comfy bed. As well as a shower and a bath with many little goodies (shampoos, moisturisers etc). And to wake up to the views of the big glass window looking onto the animals & countryside really was the cherry on top. We then headed upto breakfast in the morning to The Trough cafe in which saw the owner who was really friendly and chatty. All in all, a highly recommended location. The scenery around the apartments was lovely, such a nice set up. The only thing we would say is that we were staying for longer because the facilities were fab! Thank you very much!

This was our second visit to the Farmyard and we booked into the same room as before, because we loved it so much. Great bang for buck. The accommodation is more of a mini home for two, with Floor to ceiling windows upstairs and downstairs, doors onto the patio courtyard, facing the countryside/farm. Open your lounge patio doors onto your very own the patio courtyard and eat your breakfast al fresco, whilst watching their special breed of cows, and other farmyard animals milling around grazing etc.

If you want your room serviced just ask. Otherwise you can snooze , potter and read to your hearts content undisturbed by someone coming into clean. We were very happy to make the bed and clean where and when needed.

Super quiet and private, no annoying reception or keys to lose, the option of doing our own food when we wanted or/and going to their resident eatery The Trough, which is beautifully done, unbelievably comfortable, views from every table and excellent generous fare.

I have not slept so well in years, the bed was perfect (i'm super fussy) a very generous shower room with sink and toilet upstairs next to the modern four poster bed and a lovely generous really luxurious bath /bathroom downstairs meant no fights for any aspect of the bathroom. Tv in lounge and bedroom. Best of both worlds.

We had a packed itinerary visiting friends in Minehead and Kingswear and exploring many beautiful landmarks, coast lines and more. Coming Back to our Farmyard bolthole was the perfect end to each day.

From the moment we arrived at this apartment we were made to feel welcome. The staff at the resturant/Farm Shop were the best. I really cannot rate this highly enough. The choice of menu, presentation and quality of food was fantastic, we stayed for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant at least once a day. The rooms were just perfect, superbly decorated and furnished nothing has been missed, a bath that fits 2 people down to a separate double shower room. The attention to detail even down to the slippers, gown and jug of milk were a great touch. We will definitely return with our friends.
