The stay was great. They were able to provide a cot, and a doggy bed along with a complimentary bag of doggy treats. TV had all the streaming services needed to keep us entertained between changeover and their restaurant was very good. Their desserts were incredible and they source locally. Their morning brown malt loaf is from a bakery (Krusty loaf) round the corner and was so good we went and bought some to take home. Their ice cream they serve with their desserts, comes from a local dairy farm which we also went and bought a tub from. The location was great and village was lovely to wander around in.

We stopped off for an impromptu dinner and booked a table for two at 6pm. The staff were unfailingly friendly and polite. My husband had the Whitebait and lamb steak, both of which he thought were well cooked and presented. I had the sausage roll followed by fish pie. Both were acceptable. We accompanied our meal with Feathers Bitter (him) and cider on tap (for me). Both excellent. Professional set up here

I was traveling alone, but I felt completely safe and comfortable during my stay.
The room was clean and had a fresh, tidy feel. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around.
Although my English is not very strong, the staff were very understanding and made every effort to communicate clearly.
Thanks to their kindness, I had a very pleasant and stress-free experience.
I appreciated their hospitality.

Whilst staying in Holt on a wonderful break. My hubby & I quite often frequented The Feathers. It was fantastic weather, so the outside area was perfect to enjoy drinks. Inside is deceivingly enormous. 99% of the staff were so amazing, attentive & very friendly. 😄

We ate in the restaurant on our last evening. The food was delicious, however the steak at £37 was very expensive for just a steak, salad leaves & chips!

My wife and I called in for a late afternoon drink and we’re so comfortable and welcome that we ended up having our evening meal in the bar.
The squid and salmon were cooked perfectly and the service was perfect.
The bar is lively but not noisy and the ambience was great.
The price was about right for carefully prepared food.
We will definitely come again.

A pleasant place to stay. The room was light, clean. It was well supplied with tea, coffee etc. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well and the bathroom was well supplied with towels and washing materials. The staff were all exceedingly helpful. The breakfasts were very good.
The restaurant provides good quality pub grub.

We experienced a very good time at the Feathers, and would thoroughly recommend it.
The service is excellent, management good with waitresses who work flat out always with a smile, and really excel.
A word of caution, if you have an issues around dogs, you may want to choose somewhere different.

Great first impressions on arrival. The staff especially Amanda engaged with us straight away and loved our dog Storm!!! We stayed two nights, the room was spacious and comfortable and dog treats and bed were provided. |Any queries were dealt with efficiently and they were even kind enough to fulfill my request of a birthday candle in my wife’s breakfast sausage and sing her happy birthday!!!|Would definitely stay again
