Been a few times with bigger family for Sunday lunch but also a couple of times on my walks with my babies. One time they weren't open but got me a coffee and let me breastfeed in one of their self catering accomodation that was empty at the time. Food was always great and service is lovely. Highly recommend it ❤️

The Five Bells in Buriton is a fantastic pub that ticks all the boxes for a great countryside visit. They offer an excellent selection of local ales, and the landlord's friendly sense of humor adds a warm and welcoming touch.

With free parking and a dartboard for some classic pub fun, it’s a place that caters to everyone. Plus, the pub is surrounded by beautiful village scenery and lovely walking routes, making it an ideal stop for a drink or meal before or after exploring the area.

Highly recommend this charming spot to anyone visiting Buriton!

Recently went for a spontaneous family lunch . Got a table without any problems, staff were very considerate and proactive about our baby who needed to finish a nap while his brother already wanted food. Food is excellent quality. And Buriton itself is wonderful.

I cannot recommend the 5 bells in Buriton enough!
We had our parent’s 40th wedding anniversary here yesterday and it was all perfect!
Nothing was too much trouble and the owner and team when well out of their way to make this a memorable event for us all!
For a large table of 9 (2 of which being young children), everything was wonderful!
The food was beautifully cooked and hot, the children were given bubbles and little toys to play with and amuse themselves (which was such a lovely idea), the food and drinks were delivered extremely fast and the team were so polite and friendly!
Myself and family are extremely grateful for how wonderful and kind you all were and it’s made such a lasting memory for us!
Thank you from us all again x

If you haven’t eaten here, it’s a must for your next meal- the roast dinners and desserts are so tasty and the chef did such a wonderful job.
I will continue to recommend this pub for years to come! We have never once had an issue!
Try this place if you haven’t yet!

Highly recommended- 5 star services all round 😊

My partner invited me for Sunday roast and it was the biggest disappointment meal I ever had. Roast potatoes were burnt pure , black potatoes and the whole meal was soaked in gravy, it looked like a soup more then Sunday roast meal. I could have ask to have gravy in separate little jar onsite but i have never expected to receive the whole meal soaked. Meat wasn't very tasty either and that meal was warmed up in the microwave. I wasn't able to eat that at all and we have been sat in the small room near the toilets where fire place wasn't on, so it was cold. I wouldn't recommend or go there again.

Our first visit to this very old and cosy pub in Buriton. Lovely staff and great location. It's steeped I'm history and looks like it could tell many stories. It goes back to mideval times and you can feel it too.

We stopped for a quick drink and snacks. Dog friendly the menu looked good 😊 Will definitely go back to try the food out another time.

They hold weddings and other occasions there and have accommodation too 😉

Lovely classic pub. We’d enjoyed Sunday lunch earlier this year and stayed for a comfortable night whilst walking the South Downs Way. Les and his daughter were incredibly welcoming; even helping to organise a takeaway for dinner on the Tuesday night when the kitchen isn’t open. Thank you!
