Called into The Fleece for a drink today. Very welcoming, served by Amanda and Mark.
Ended up having several drinks and had prawn cocktail with fries and tandoori chops starters. Absolutely beautiful food- I would highly recommend! Nice to get drinks with lots of ice too! We will definitely call again. So peaceful up here to. Thanks guys ?

Sure on a good day the views are spectacular from the terrace outside and the Fleece does have 2 AA rosettes.|Unfortunately the food is not as special as the views. It all looks lovely but it is not far above your regular pub food and at the price it is a little disappointing. There are other restaurants in the area, which serve much more flavoursome and special food so we won't be visiting the fleece again.|We had put in on a shortlist of places to visit on Christmas day, but following our visit have decided to cross it off as the food just wasn't special enough.

Me and my wife visited on the 13th of October for Sunday lunch. We had starters and mains and two drinks each. Starters were very average, mains were very poor (off which we left most) and the service was the same. The only person to show any interest in our dinning was the bar person when I went to pay the bill. I was asked how our food had been? I replied diabolical (or a word to that effect) and the service was the same. To which I got a smile and the bill !!! To say me and my wife were a little disappointed is an understatement.

We visited for a close family wedding.
Views are beautiful and venue is cosy and alright for able bodied customers, but not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.
No access was available to disabled parking upon arrival for our wedding event as disabled spaces were blocked by venues delivery lorry parked there, yet it could have parked further along fencing.
Not acceptable.
There's no direct access from bar and wedding space to disabled toilet without having to go outside building and back in via another part of building to access it.
Luckily im not a wheelchair user as have a frame and managed just about to access the main toilets in wedding room.
We personally didn't stay in Inn's rooms, as venue was reasonably local for us.
BUT some of my family did and NOT happy with no room service to make beds up when rooms were in use and expected my daughter-in-law whom had just recently had a baby, to change sheets from previous occupant herself, albeit a previous different family member. This was not acceptable no matter whom the previous occupant was and so spoiled for her and added more spoil for myself on what should have been a lovely experience for ALL my family.
The only good bit about this venue were the views, the terrace and the drinks but especially the coffee from the bar. The room was well dressed for wedding ceremony, reception and after meal party.
However, after our experience it is not somewhere I could sadly recommend.

We had our wedding at The Fleece Inn on June 1st, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we booked the venue, everything was just fantastic. The staff were so helpful and accommodating during our meetings, making sure that everything is exactly what we wanted for our big day.||When we arrived, everyone was incredibly pleasant and supportive. The beautiful views around the venue is just breathtaking by, adding a magical touch to our photos.||I was so nervous before walking down the aisle, but the team was wonderful. They offered me water, chatted with me to calm my nerves, and guided me through everything. I can’t thank them enough for that!||Thanks to the team’s exceptional efforts, everything ran smoothly, and we could fully enjoy our special day without any worries.||We highly recommend The Fleece Inn. If you want your photos to look great and have a worry-free experience, choose The Fleece Inn. We’re truly grateful for everything you did to make our wedding perfect!

Well my granddaughter had her wedding here on the 24th August which was two years in planning. Such a beautiful wedding ruined really by a power cut so no meal was served. Pizzas was sent out for but this didn’t suffice in my opinion. Why would a wedding venue not actually have a Generator in said circumstances? They had saved for two years for all the wedding guests to have a Sunday Lunch and Desserts but none of this happened. No offer of compensation but this place must have insurance against these events happening. So disappointed in such a beautiful place when everything should be perfect. You can’t get that moment back unfortunately. They thankfully didn’t let it dampen their day but what should have run like clockwork didn’t.
