Lovely little cafe at the London Gliding Club. Great to sit and watch the gliders take off. Staff always helpful and friendly. Noticed prices have gone up quite a bit since our last visit, but still good value. Annoyingly only get one egg now with the standard breakfast when you used to get 2, and you get two of everything else. The eggs however were the only disappointing part of the breakfast. They cook them in some kind or round mold, and they were very overcooked. Fried eggs should have a runny yolk. Otherwise food was great.

Lovely cafe, nice view over the airfield, nice staff.
Plenty of food options, vegetarian and gluten free catered for, plus a kids menu.
Very good portions for a reasonable price - will certainly be back.

We had the All Day Breakfast which was delicious. Great views of the Downs too. The staff went over and above to help my father. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

I work as a mentor for SEND children. One of the kids I work with loves coming to this cafe as it provides a calm and quiet environment to learn. Food is great and the staff are lovely.

I greeted the staff on my way in and received a grunt in response. The overall appearance of the cafe was dated and out table, cutlery. and glasses were dirty.
The food was poor. My breakfast had burnt cold hard toast.
The sausages and bacon were the same. We had 4 breakfast and a toastie they were all nasty. The staff could not be bothered and were more interested in their phones. A waste of money and really disappointing as it had been recommended to us. We will not go again and neither will the people who recommended it.

Website shows they close at 4pm so we made plans to meet people there for lunch. Tried to contact them to double check open times and if a table needed booking, didn’t answer messages or calls. they close at 2pm so we had to cancel our plans. Bad customer service.

Nice, traditional cooked breakfasts, plus a few other options (avocado on toast) - and because everything is freshly prepared Adrian, Kelly and their team are happy to accommodate variations.
Fantastic location, too, on the first floor of a listed 1930s gliding club hangar - you can enjoy a meal and watch the gliders at the same time!
Outside there's a nice seating area, too.
All-round a great addition to the area!
