My wife and I have had breakfasts, evening meals and Sunday lunches here and the food is always fantastic.
In this day & age of expensive eating out, the Foulsyke gives very good value for money.
Casey and Joe are very pleasant and helpful, willing to oblige where possible with any dietary concerns or requests.
We would thoroughly recommend eating out here.
Keep up the great work Foulsyke!

We held my Mum's 80th birthday party at The Foulsyke and it was brilliant. |Casey and Joe, the owners, went above and beyond to make the occasion special and it was very much enjoyed by all who attended. |The food was outstanding. We had a meeting with them beforehand to discuss our requirements and what we received was even more than we asked for!|We had a hot and cold buffet for the 30 guests, which included chilli, rice, chips, fish goujons, hot dogs, various sandwiches, pastries, quiche, colourful pasta salads and a stunning seafood platter.|The plentiful savoury options were all very fresh, tasty and of a high quality. |The sweet treats to follow were scones with clotted cream and jam, mini confectionaries and amazing fruit displays.|Chef extraordinaire Joe pulled out all the stops and went above and beyond for us, even adding extra goodies to the buffet we hadn't ordered! There was plenty left to take home doggy bags too. The presentation was excellent. |Casey, his wife, couldn't do enough for us on the day and she and the lovely lady helping her gave us fantastic service. You could tell how much they all wanted everyone to enjoy the event, especially my Mum. They worked so hard and were the perfect hosts. |The Foulsyke, which is dog friendly, is situated in the picturesque village of Scalby, which also boasts two pubs, a cafe, two beauty salons, a hairdressers and a newsagents/convenience store.|It's ideal for rural walks and bike rides and a short distance from the local rugby club, which houses a gym, squash and padel tennis courts.|It's not far from the seafront and town centre too.|It has a lovely outdoor seating area, a swanky bar and a charming summerhouse, which can also be used for private events. |My sister and her friends stayed overnight in the beautiful rooms and enjoyed hearty Yorkshire breakfasts.|I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Foulsyke for breakfast, lunch, dinner, any kind of special celebration you want to hold, or just popping in for drinks.|Thank you so much Casey and Joe for making my Mum's 80th such a memorable occasion.|Best wishes Sharon and Stella. I can't say a single bad word about this place.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeting by our hosts, Casey and Joe, and they couldn't have been nicer. They are such genuinely lovely people and they have a really nice B&B with a fantastic atmosphere.
The place is spotlessly clean and the room was gorgeous. We had the attic room. The room has plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The room has all the facilities you would need including a TV, fan, hairdryer and kettle. They also provide you with plenty tea, hot chocolate, several varieties of coffee and some tasty cookies too.
The room also has plenty of sockets for any electrical items.

The bathroom is stunning and has a large free standing rolltop bath that faces the window and there is a nice view out the window. There is also a nice shower. The bathroom is stocked with plenty clean towels and plenty toiletries are provided too.

The room was serviced each day, towels were changed as needed and tea and coffee etc. was re-stocked.

For breakfast, the options are varied to suit all tastes and the quality of food is excellent and delicious. The cooked breakfast is particularly good and certainly sets you up for the day.

We didn't get to eat any evening meals there, but the menu looks great and from what I have heard, their food is fantastic. Based on how good the breakfast is, I was not surprised to hear such positive words about their other food.

The B&B is also licenced and they have a bar. We did not have a drink there, but they have a decent selection of beers and quite an impressive selection of spirits, and in particular, a good selection of whisky.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foulskye. We have booked again for next year and we are already looking forward to going back.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing BnB, this is our second time staying here. My husband and I love staying here.|Casy & Joe are an amazing couple and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. It's like going home from home. |Joe the chef certainly feeds you well. The food is top notch. |We park the car and don't use it. The village is really nice and also has 2 pubs.|We catch the bus into Scarborough which you get in at the top of the road X93 takes you to the train station at the top of town and then you can walk through the shops and down the hill to the sea front.|I recommend anyone to stay at the Foulsyke and enjoy the relaxation of your stay with Casey & Joe. The BnB is dog friendly and their resident dog Max is adorable.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here & I have to say it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, Joe & Casey were great, very welcoming to all our guests. The hot & cold buffet selection was amazing & plentiful, as was the gazebo, so beautifully decorated. We stayed the night with some of our guest staying also, & we all had an exceptional fresh breakfast next morning. I would definitely recommend this beautiful B&B for private functions as you get total privacy. It really is fantastic.

We stayed here on March 15th for our golden wedding anniversary bash. Casey & Joe were amazing hosts, they put on a fantastic spread (hot & cold buffet) for all our guests, the food & decor were second to none. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every part of the celebrations from the youngest (12) to the oldest (75). Thank you for a lovely evening. I would highly recommend a trip here, the B&B side of things was also exceptional, fantastic rooms & breakfast.

(Haven’t Rates Rooms as we stayed in Campervan)||Now then, from the initial call, to us leaving site, these two couldn’t have done any more for us! Brilliant service.|Joe met us as soon as we pulled in and we didn’t state what time we would be there. He showed us all around and the facilities were fantastic. Heated washroom and bathroom with shower and bath. Now there’s not many places we’d use a bath, but, this was the exception. Lovely and clean. So welcoming.|We had use of the bar and breakfast room. The breakfast was tailor made and fantastic. Joe and his good Lady were simply the best hosts.|Pitch, electric hook up, water, waste, bathroom/toilet, bar all included in the price.|We chose, against our usual habit, to have breakfast and it were lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.|No fires but there is a stables adjoining the property so fair play. However BBQs are in the pipeline, Joe showed us some he’s had made.||Nearby pubs are expensive because warned, but Scarborough is only a short taxi away and I’m sure there’ll be buses too.|Our lad was playing Rugby at Scarborough RUFC which we walked to in like 5mins if that.||Highly recommended.
