Stayed at the Fountain for 2 nights on business trip to the isle of wight - staff could not have been more helpful or friendly - especially Chris who looked after us at breakfast - very helpful, polite and professional. Room was very well equipped and the clean, although overall I think the whole place could do with a lick of paint! That aside, a very comfortable stay and warm welcome from all the staff. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and colleagues.

The Fountain Inn is a very special place. I stayed for the weekend on a solo trip. The location is excellent, accessible to transportation and all the shops along High Street. The charming building has an interesting history and the pub has a vibrant atmosphere because locals hang out here as well to enjoy drinks, food and live music. The Eggs Benedict are outstanding for breakfast. The fish cakes and salad are a great choice for a light dinner. I liked drinking the local beer called Neck Oil but they have a wide selection to choose from. But the favorite part of my stay was the service! The people who take care of this Inn are professionals who take customer service to the next level. The Inn is located on a yacht harbor so staff are used to catering to discerning customers as well as locals from every walk of life. It’s hands down the best choice in Cowes.

Excellent location, close to Red Jet and local shops. Welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble. Warm and cosy. Breakfast and evening meal were both very good with lots of choice. Comfortable beds. Kettle in room with tea and coffee making facilities.Would stay again

Very friendly welcome and delicious food. Will definitely be back in the future. ||We visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon when we were wondering around Cowes looking for lunch. We were greeted by lovely bar staff who showed us to the restaurant area, where we were then served by Nicki. She was friendly and attentive. We both ordered different pies and they were great. A generous portion size for a good price and tasted great! We will most definitely be visiting again.

Stayed for a long weekend. Lovely superior double room, a king bed by the way. Breakfast was superb, Nicky was so helpful, an absolute delight and took an interest in us and our plans for the day. Also enjoyed our evening meals. Staff were all lovely. Couldn't really fault anything other than couldn't work the shower in our room, but that could have been me! Would definitely stay again. Thank you all at the Fountain, Cowes.

The staff, service and welcome was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, which was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable too. Be prepared for steep stairs to access your room as this is an older property with no lift. We were on the street side so there was the inevitable Saturday night noise but earplugs sorted that out. Breakfast was very good value and there was an excellent selection including fresh fruit and cooked items to order.

Great food and drink when we visited for a Christmas Eve lunch in the fountain inn. Amazing service- even got a bed and sausage for the dog. Nicki served us and was so lovely. We had everything we needed. Will definitely be back in the new year!!

We had lunch at the Fountain today we were served by Nicki for our food and Martin at the bar. Both were extremely pleasent and helpful. Nicki looked after our dog bringing water and blankets for him to lay on.|Cowes is generally very expensive for food, very pleased at the cost. The food served is simple, but well cooked and tasty.
