Had our Sunday lunch here before heading off to Colready Highlands round the corner, lovely little spot which we found. The food and ambiance were lovely. The service was great too!! Special shout out to our server Maisie, she was friendly and bubbly.

This is a regular lunch stop for me. This visit 21/04/24. Nicola’s service as ever excellent.
Prices are good, but using frozen mixed veg a bit of a let down. Brussels sprouts are December-early March.
That aside I love the Fox and will always be a loyal customer, especially if they bring back the cheese board! When I first started going 8 years ago the cheese board was a challenge, the puds are great, I just prefer cheese after lunch.
The sausage and mash on the specials later has been excellent and the menu choices mean there is always something and it’s always good.

Such a lovely place, friendly welcome and fab food! Plus a 2 for £20 burger special - what's not to love? The vegan spicy bean burger was excellent as were the vegan breaded mushrooms. The husband loved his pork and chorizo burger too. Something for everyone! Sharon & Greg, thank you. We will be back! ?

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the The Fox in Farthinghoe. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome from Sharon who always goes above and beyond both with her customer service and friendliness. We have visited both for drinks which offer a fabulous range from Ales, Bitters, Lager Cider to spirits, bottled alcohol and soft along with expected soft drinks. The food is exceptional and they have regular specials for steaks and Sunday lunches.
The environment is beautiful a real country pub environment. The also have regular events going on. They run a craft fayre supporting both independent small businesses and providing something for the community. My wife regularly has a stall at the fayres and enjoys them and the community atmosphere. They are also uses regularly by the biking community for a monthly bike meet.
The pub also has reasonable parking.
Highly recommended and we feel very lucky to have this pub a couple of villages away from us and it's worth the drive out.

We celebrated my Mum's 70th today at The Fox at lunch time. From the first moment I called to book, the staff were really accommodating. We had an extreme mix of ages, disabilities plus a dog and the staff were truly AMAZING.

We've been many times before for lunch and just knew this would be the perfect venue for hosting our celebration.

We loved the food, so much choice - all the deserts were yummy too and the warm and friendly team did an excellent balance of leaving us to ourselves but being there when we needed them, spot on! Thank you.

We will be back 🙂
