We went with The French Kitchen for our wedding this summer and they were amazing! From our first contact with Ben we knew that we were in good hands - he was very friendly and reliable, and that remained the case despite our ongoing questions and last-minute menu changes. We were able to have many different dishes at two separate tastings but we ended up opting for the guinea fowl as a main which we hadn’t tried. Given the quality of the various dishes we had we knew that this wasn’t risky and we weren’t disappointed - it was delicious! We were catering for over 130 adults and all of our guests were very impressed by the quality of the food, both in taste and in presentation, and covering canapés to desserts. We were also amazed at how perfect the service was for this amount of people, including very specific dietary requirements. Massive thank you to Ben and the entire French Kitchen team for making this such a seamless experience for us and a real treat to everyone in attendance!!

We are so glad that we asked French Kitchen to cater our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better service. Ben was a delight to work with from the beginning, always answering emails quickly and being as helpful and patient as possible when I kept on contacting him with various questions. He was also great to chat to and we really enjoyed the tasting experience prior to the wedding. On the day itself, the French Kitchen staff were perfect, everything ran seamlessly and guests commented on how excellent the service was.

Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, so many guests told us that both the canapés and the wedding breakfast meal were the best they had ever had at any weddings they had been to!

If you are looking for exceptional food with exceptional & professional service then we definitely recommend choosing The French Kitchen. We hope to work with them again if we need catering for a special event!

The French Kitchen who catered for our wedding in March at Almonry Barn, Langport, Somerset, were absolutely outstanding. Their organisation pre wedding, combined with their level of flexibility, professionalism and attention to detail provided an exceptional catering service
Katherine the events manager was so helpful, friendly and her team on the day were almost invisible during the breakfast reception. Katherine was so thoughtful and kind. Her suggestion of a glass of prosecco before entering the ceremony room was a stroke of genius!!!!
What can we say about the food..........
It was fabulous!! So many guests commented on the quality of the courses and the canapés, oh my god, sublime.
John and I can't recommend The French Kitchen enough, just use them to sit back and savour your special day.

We chose French Kitchen to be our caterers for our wedding on the 2nd June based on good word of mouth reports and tasting their delicious canapés at open days, they were absolutely brilliant and the food and service was amazing. Ben was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process from initial enquiry, through to the wedding tasting and the big day itself. On our tasting Ben was happy to take on board our feedback and everything was actioned. In the last few days before the day we had more queries and Ben was very accommodating and got back to us straight away. On the big day itself, the staff were amazing, very professional and efficient. During the drinks reception the team went round topping up everyone’s glasses, the canapés were delicious and seem to keep coming! During the wedding breakfast, again the staff were very professional and the service was so smooth and completely faultless! We were actually ahead of schedule! We got so many comments from our guests on how delicious the food was. It was also greatly approached how people with dietary requirements were accommodated for so perfectly.

Ben’s team came across as highly dedicated and experienced.

The French Kitchen provided an outstanding level of service at our summer wedding, ensuring that food was quickly served to all of our guests. They were open to discussing different menu ideas and were fantastic at catering to gluten and dairy free guests - you could not taste the difference, and their vegetarian options were excellent. Katherine was brilliant at ensuring the bride and groom had food, water and wine as soon as they arrived from the ceremony! Thank you French Kitchen.

We were so impressed by French Kitchen. Katherine was knowledgable, helpful and very responsive from our first engagement right through the wedding. They adapted the approach of the menu to suit what we wanted, and they were really flexible with us.

The food was delicious - we were wowed at our food tasting, and somehow it tasted even better when scaled up for 150 guests. The service on the day of the wedding was excellent, and many of our guests have commented on how good the food was - the late night mac and cheese was a showstopper.

FK are excellent value for the level of quality and service you receive, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for catering for their event.

We chose The French Kitchen as our caterers for our wedding at The Bishop’s Palace in Wells in September 2023.

Right from our initial enquiry, through to our (many) questions in planning for the day, Ben the Events Manager was very responsive and accommodating – which put us at ease throughout.

We had our tasting session a year before the wedding and the whole experience of the tasting was so fantastic, in this we knew we had absolutely made the right choice in The French Kitchen.

The setup day and wedding day itself was run like clockwork – every member of staff was smart, friendly, polite and very helpful. Welcome drinks were proactively topped up and the canapes were continual and plentiful.

The wedding breakfast itself was absolutely faultless – soon after call-through the service commenced, each and every dish coming out of the kitchen was prepared perfectly and looked absolutely amazing – tables were served together and no-one was left waiting to start.

We have received so many positive comments from our guests in the past weeks complementing how good the food and service was, and it being the best wedding breakfast they’ve ever had – a sentiment we share too.

Into the evening the team ran an efficient bar service and a plentiful selection of evening buffet food.

A big thanks to Ben and the French Kitchen team, we can’t recommend them enough!
