We only visited the bar and did not stay overnight but I can honestly say we’ve never had such a welcome as we did there. There was a gang of us from North Wales staying local for my brothers 60th and decided to go out for the afternoon Aug bank holiday Sunday and boy were we glad we did. Seriously all the staff and locals could not go enough to welcome us and to ensure we had a great time. I. Met some lovely characters outside and learnt more about the local area. Ellie was amazing and allowed me access to the disabled toilet as I was struggling with a limb complaint. The pub was so busy as live music was on during the afternoon but we never waited long at the bar as they were so efficient. The beers was a fab pint and they even arranged taxis back for us all. It was lovely to have a brief chat with Jackie who again couldn’t have made us feel more welcome if she tried. Great afternoon of beer, laughter, chatter, horse racing, music……. What more could we have all asked for!!! Thank you all so much and fingers crossed we will be back to see you one day!!! 🤞

Needed somewhere to stay as we were meeting friends then had a meet up the next day at Cannon Hall so we booked here to stay. The place is spotless and bed was so comfy. We had our dog with us too which is great they let them stay. The room was very warm so we made use of the fan in the room. The only aspect we would change is we would book a room at the end of the corridor as people coming in disturbed our dog but would stay again and do this.

Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff.

Very clean obviously not long refurbished. 3 story accomodation with lots of outside steps to climb. All bookings on line keys left in key safes never see staff. No brekfast offered have to travel half mile to shopping centre. Despite clean did get bitten several times in bed. Despite this would visit again.

Excellent couple of pints of Belgian Blue. Would be great if they had a couple of pales on as well but great place to visit
