My lamb was perfection, followed by the beef, which fell apart when I showed it my fork! It was historic. I finished with the cheese and only because I'm a cheddar-aholic did I find the portion just a little wee. However, what I had was just lovely. My friends thoroughly enjoyed the bisque, the beef and the pasta. The apple tart and rosemary ice cream was also well received. My other friend thinks he may have enjoyed the coconut rice pudding if it had been warm. As it was, he almost took the pattern off the plate. The staff were exemplary from the hostess (lovely lady) to the table/bar servers. Lots of smiles, so very rare nowadays. We've already booked for May.

Really can't give this place anything less than 5 stars! What a great idea and good practice for the students who were so so lovely and nice.

We went for the three course lunch. The starters were good but duck was slightly overcooked and the other was a tad bit too salty (this is me nitpicking). Everything else was amazing, the mains were perfectly cooked and balanced and the dessert (particularly the panna cotta) was perfect. Well done to all the staff 😊 I will absolutely be visiting again!

Fantastic food and lovely service. I had sea bass starter with fresh peas and cauliflower in batter. Amazing. The main was a lamb pumpkin curry that was sublime. The dessert was a selection of tarts with ice cream. Best torte I've ever tasted. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Gives you the chance to experience great food at a very reasonable price, while supporting chefs in training. Couldn't ask for more

The food and service provided is excellent. It's hard to remember that the front of house staff and chefs are only in training. I would definitely recommend going and giving it a try and let's not forget the fantastic value for money.

Gorgeous experience, fantastic view of the Wallace monument, lovely food and really pleasant happy staff who all seem to take care of each other. I'll be eagerly keeping an eye out for more of the rare Thursday evening slots.
