This is the first time we have been here since the refurbishment and wow what a great job they done. The glass greenhouse cafe is decorated very charmingly and pretty. It was a quiet and relaxed atmosphere when we came here for tea and cake. The tea was presented in a delightful crockery and the lemon drizzle cake was very delicious. You can sit outside too over looking the garden. Appears to be a wedding, art class and food festival venue. Looking forward to returning and highly recommended.

I planned my sister’s hen party here in February 2025. Throughout the planning process & on the day itself, all the staff were so accommodating & the event was perfect! The table they set for us looked beautiful. The atmosphere & ambient music was perfect for a hen party & the food was wonderful (& plentiful!). One of our party uses a wheelchair & the whole venue & toilets are perfectly accessible. The staff worked so hard to make it a beautiful day. I’d 100% recommend. Thank you!

Visited on a very cold Sunday morning by motorcycle. Was met with a warm welcome and a Woodburner to warm up. The breakfast was excellent with great quality ingredients and good coffee. Was good value considering the quality and the 20% off food for January was a bonus. We will be back again. Gravel car park close to the entrance. Nice views of the gardens from the Glass House. Outdoor space for summer time.

The best bacon sandwich ever! and flat white for breakfast, served by lovely friendly people. Beautiful setting, seated on the terrace overlooking the wonderful gardens! Very nice experience on a beautiful day!

Just WoW! We live an hour a way and chose this venue to meet friends but we feel we have to drive back to try more on their winter menu before it changes. The decor and warm welcome made this place feel like a Lonely Planet Special find. The quality of food was incredible. I wouldn't hesitate to meet here for a coffee catch up or organise a special party. I'm looking forward to an amble around the rose gardens in the summer. Highly recommend!

When I went to pay, the waitress confirmed what we ate, I agreed and then she presented me with the credit card machine to pay.
Only later I see they added a 10% service charge without showing or telling me and no option for me to remove it. If I didn't ask for a receipt after I paid I wouldn't have know they have illegally over charged me.

Really lovely venue, lovely food and great staff who were very attentive. Husband had a HUGE ploughman's that was incredible, had the rest of the table envious over his food. Great that we could also take our dogs
