A very nice B and B more like walking in home. Chris and Leslie are exceptional hosts and very attentive. The house is perfect and the breakfast enormous. The bedrooms are just what you want after a day out a good size and nice en-suite bathroom and toilet. The room is made up every day with clean towels and shower glass cleaned not like some of the chain hotels. Good position in the village 10 minute walk to white hart hotel very good food at a reasonable cost and a 3 minute walk to Yandles. Take the time to talk to Chris and Leslie as they have a wealth of knowledge about the area and the building. Not forgetting custard she is lovely. |Hopefully we will be back soon. ||Gary and Aileen

We were warmly welcomed by Lesley, Chris and Custard the dog and show to a very spacious and comfortable room, which had tea and coffee making facilities, an extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom with shower. It really does feel like visiting family when you stay at the Glovers House. Chris is a fabulous chef. Ingredients from his own allotment and fresh eggs from his rescue hens made for a spectacular breakfast. There is nothing we can fault. The Glovers House is now our "go-to" place to stay!

What an excellent stay we had with our delightful hosts at the Glovers House. Check in was easy then we were shown to a well appointed, roomy bedroom. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfasts were something to look forward to with a wide choice offered including a delicious kedgeree. Fresh ingredients from our hosts garden were used. Breakfasts also included informative discussions about the history of the area with our knowledgeable host. This was one of the best b&b's we have stayed in. I suggest that if you are in the Martock area or anywhere in Somerset...make the Glovers House your home away from home.

We stopped at Martock to break the journey on the way to Cornwall and couldn't have had a better stay at The Glovers House. Chris and Leslie were lovely to us, not least as we turned up with an irritable toddler and immediately asked to put on a load of washing! Big bedrooms, good breakfast, comfortable beds, an all round great stay especially for those travelling with small children. Highly recommend.

Chris, Lesley and their lab, Custard, were extremely welcoming from the very start of our two-night stay, even to the point of offering to assist with our bags. We were shown immediately to our room, which was conveniently straight up the stairs and to the left where we were greeted with complimentary towels and some nice little touches such as fresh water by the bedside.||The Glovers House is very dog friendly, and our miniature Schnauzer was made just as welcome as my wife and me.||The room and adjoining en-suite were both immaculately clean and tidy with a very comfortable super king bed, large wardrobe, desk area and bedside units. A couple of chairs and a good-sized TV finished the room.||The en-suite was well equipped with a bath and shower and a selection of good quality soaps, shampoos and similar. If I had any criticisms, it would be that the toilet was quite cramped, and the shower head was a little awkward to adjust having been sited in the corner. My wife and I were ok, but a larger guest may struggle.||Back in the very generous room and there was plenty of storage, a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities with a good choice of beverages. I was very slightly disappointed not to find complimentary biscuits, but this was a very minor concern.||The stairs were slightly on the steep side and again, although my wife and I managed fine, others may not. The bed is very comfortable, and we both slept well both nights we were there. Quite a tall bed, but not overly so.||As the name suggests, a B&B provides breakfast as part of the cost and whereas the hosts and the room were excellent, here The Glovers House truly shined with one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, a feeling mirrored by my wife. Superb ingredients and an excellent chef and the full English was both very filling and extremely tasty. Indeed, it’s worth visiting just to sample the breakfast!||Whenever my wife and I stay somewhere, we always ask each other if we would stay again and with The Glovers House, it was a unanimous and definite yes. The toilet and stairs do mean that larger or infirm guests may have some struggles but otherwise it really is a wonderful B&B. It is dog friendly, with very welcoming hosts, an amazing breakfast and should be seriously considered by anyone looking to stay in the area.

What a gem. The location is great. The rooms are excellent: spacious, clean and very comfortable. I cannot recommend the breakfast enough. The kedgeree and cooked breakfast are exceptional! The freshly blended coffee is also fantastic. Every comfort has been considered and it is quality. Chris and Leslie and brilliant hosts and we were very well catered for . We will be back 😁😊

An excellent B & B with very friendly and helpful hosts. The room was very clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast menu. A one minute walk from Yandles who run a range of courses and Glovers House give a 10% discount if you are attending.|On learning that I was on public transport they insisted that they give me a lift to the station about 25 minutes away. So very kind.|I would strongly recommend Glovers House.

Lovely B&B. Very comfortable bed and nice room. Chris is a great cook and does a lovely kedgeree with smoked haddock. We did the local parkrun at Frogmary Green Farm and they were very accommodating with our request for an early breakfast. Highly recommended!
