We used Gourmet Chef to provide a 3 course meal and an evening pizza van for our wedding. From the moment we first met Caroline at a wedding fair to the big day itself, the team were great and so helpful. We could also tell that they were very passionate about what they were offering and knew that they would provide a great service. The tasting before the wedding was a good opportunity to try some of the dishes we’d selected and discuss ideas. All information required was agreed ahead of the wedding and they were really helpful with any changes that arose. The day itself went so smoothly, we didn’t need to worry about the food side of things at all! Everyone loved the food and the pizza van in the evening was so great that an attendee has already booked the pizza van for another event. Overall we were so happy we went with Gourmet Chef and would highly recommend them.

The Gourmet Chef, Caroline and the team were absolutely brilliant in catering for our wedding for 100 guests. Communication in the run up was excellent, they responded so well to our brief and came back with a delicious menu with lots of choice. From the start Caroline understood our needs and budget, and managed the process thoroughly. Chef Andy and the kitchen team produced some wonderful canapés and a tasty 3 course menu on the day. We went for the sharing meat boards and the added theatre of getting guests to carve at the table in chef hats which worked brilliantly! All our guests loved it and we’ve had some great feedback on the tastiness of the food. We highly recommend these guys, they go above and beyond.

The Gourmet Chef catered our wedding in September 21, and the food was just amazing!
Brilliant service from the whole team, so tasty, looked amazing and the whole day flowed so well.
From the pimms bar, canapes, wedding breakfast to pizza it was all flawless.
The pizza van was a massive hit! My husbands only regret is not tasting all the pizzas ?

We had our wedding catered by The Gourmet Chef and could not have asked for a better service. In the months leading up to the big day we were guided through the process of getting everything organised; it was clear what we needed to do, and the team would handle everything else. Caroline was always on hand and quick to reply to emails with any questions we had. Then, on the day itself, the food was delicious and every guest to a man remarked on how enjoyable the meal was. The canapés also went down very well. The operation on the day was slick and flawless, as far as us and our guests could tell. I would absolutely recommend getting in touch if you have a big event you need catering for.

Pictures: ‘Thai-style Fishcake’ (starter), ‘Baked Scottish Salmon Fillet’ (main), ‘Sticky Toffee Pudding’ (dessert). And don’t mind the picture of our dogs!

The Gourmet chef catered for our wedding and was excellent. The food was delicious, and throughout from arranging a tasting to the week before Caroline was very helpful and I felt assured they would take care of everything.
They did not disappoint! On the day the whole team was excellent and very attentive and they really paid attention to everything in our day plan.
All of our guests commented how delicious the food was!

Gourmet Chef were amazing on our wedding day at Brookfield Barn. The food was delicious and their help in getting everything set up and presented behind the scenes was spot on. The day ran seamlessly and we can’t thank all the staff at Gourmet Chef enough for their part in it. Many of our guests also commented on how great the food was including the canapés before the meal.

From the moment we first contacted you and looked through your menu, we felt a real sense of excitement about the prospect of you cooking on our special day.

We genuinely did have the best wedding day we could have possibly hoped for. Its success was most certainly down to the extraordinary food that was served throughout our day. The professionalism and friendliness of your staff combined with the exceptional quality of your food led to an outstanding experience! All of our guests, without exception, praised the food and catering staff.

The smaller details such as the efficiency at which your staff served and cleared the tables was excellent and their attention to keep all the cake stands full of sandwiches up was superb! The balance of food was perfect throughout the day. After burning some calories on the dance floor the evening pizza from your wood-fire pizza van was greatly appreciated and eagerly devoured!

So from both Luke and I thank you so so much for making our day extra special. You really do have a very special business and deserve all the praises you receive.
