The experience was positive and presented value for money. Room was large, clean and well equipped. Kitchen had everything one would want from. Highly recommended for this type of accommodation. If there is any complaint it is the noise of the passing by of cars.

What a beautiful place is all I can say came for an overnight stay and ended up spending a week here.|Staff can't do enough for you to ensure your stay is comfortable enough.||Clean, fresh and housed in a beautiful setting. |I have no issues what so ever about my stay here in fact I am sad to leave.||I will be back again and again my favourite place yet and I have stayed at a few top places.||This is my top place what you get for 80 a night I think is an insult for all we get when a travel lodge is 130 a night and you can't even open the window.|I have a beautiful garden as soon as I open the door to the room in the cottage we had. Its just criminal that it is soooooo cheap, beautiful products provided and again offered bread and milk every day.||Absolutely 10 out of 10 for every factor of a hotel stay.||Lisa, ash and Anne what excellent service and staff ||Thank you

I think it is fair to say our wedding was a slightly mixed bag - but overall more positives than negatives. The day and night itself went very smoothly, in large part thanks to Katie and Abby's hard work and organisation - massive thanks to them. The waiters and bar staff were all friendly and helpful, and it was a fantastic wedding for everyone who attended.

In terms of negatives, the Groom's party got ready in a hotel room that wasn't being used - but you would expect the room to be in a better state even if no guests were staying there. Lipstick on the wall, floor and even on the toilet paper. The toilet seat was completely broken which wasn't a pleasant surprise.

For guests who stayed over on-site at the hotel, the experience did not live up to the price they paid. Several guests struggled with how cold the rooms were, even with the small radiators provided. The air con units were broken in the breakfast area meaning it was so cold you could see your breath in front of you - multiple radiators were brought through to help but that caused the lights to cut out so we ate breakfast in the dark! Ruby, the waitress at breakfast, tried her very best in challenging circumstances, going above and beyond to ensure the guests were comfortable. Khalid took some money off the bill but it wasn't the best note to end the wedding on.

Overall we have a lot of fantastic memories to look back on so thanks to the team who did make it a great wedding. We just wish the rooms and breakfast had been a better experience.

This should not be classed as a hotel. It is more like an Air B & B with no reception or service. Keys are collected from a deposit box via a code. Their website does not make it clear that the restaurant is closed and meals are available at the local pub. No breakfast service. Said we would check in about 3.30pm and they were ringing us at 3.45 asking where we were because they had to leave at 4.00. This is when we discovered about the key collection system. Disappointing after our previous stay when the restaurant was open. My wife was bitten in the night by what may have been a bedbug.

Rural location some Three miles from Kidderminster.|Free car park space comes with an excellent tendered mature Garden to sit out in the Summer months.|Bit noisy from Road traffic during the daytime only.|The cottage bedrooms rooms are small but comfortable and clean withe added bonus of the use of a fully fitted kitchen to cook your own breakfast or alternately bread and butter are provided to make toast. |I used the large kettle to make up my Daily travel Flask and enjoyed the complimentry Cornflake Bfast.|Good value for a no frills stay

Hi and welcome to my review 😁

Firstly it's probably worth pointing out that this is no longer a fully operational hotel 🏨, it's been downsized and the restaurant closed/leased to a wedding πŸ’’ company. The main house holds around 8 rooms. It's a really good guesthouse / B&B.

I stopped in room 5, 4 poster double bed, good sized room, newly refurbished ensuite shower 🚿

The room cost Β£80 on a Tuesday night and booked direct through the Granary Hotel website. In hindsight I feel this was a reasonable price.

Free WiFi and the speed was good.

Continental breakfast πŸ₯ available in the communal kitchen, which had a dining table, washing machine, fridge etc which is available to residents.

No restaurant but there is a pub (Hare and Hounds) very close by, within a 5 minute walk, it also has a car park, and very reasonably priced food. See my other review 🀩

If you are booking and require wheelchair access, please contact the hotel direct and they will accommodate you by providing a ground level room.

I hope you found this review helpful βœ…πŸ™Œ please give it a like βœ…πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ₯³β€οΈ

Arrived yesterday for our Christmas lunch at 1.30pm.. Food was lovely! Cooked very well... I think the heating should be turned on in the toilets because it was a very cold day..

Waitress was very rude when I asked her for some Tin foil so I could take a couple of slices of Turkey home for my lovely dog! I was told that I wasn’t allowed.. Obviously I was very annoyed after all I paid for it...
I of course told her this, and she then told me to hurry up so she could take the plate.. So so rude! She clearly has no waitress skills, and certainly not customer friendly.. My friend complained to the manager, quite rightly so... Β£95.00 per head is a lot of money to pay to be treated like that..Suggest the management train their staff to be POLITE and CUSTOMER friendly....
