Booked an overnight stay and treated ourselves to a junior suite. The moment we arrived we were greeted to a warm welcome. Our room was ready early which was a bonus. Our room was modern, spacious, tastefully decorated with a balcony overlooking the sea. The super king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had everything you could think, all the ingredients were high quality and delicious. It’s in a great location with everything just a few minutes walk away. Definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Brighton.

First stay at the Grand Hotel, Brighton on our 22nd wedding Anniversary. Our sea view room on the 4th floor was excellent, very spacious with a super king size bed, beautifully clean throughout with a large TV, Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of proper coffees and a kettle with a good selection of different teas. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean with a drench shower and complimentary toiletries. All staff we met were lovely, very pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. We had the set menu dinner in the Cyan Restaurant which was excellent, again all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choices and was always fully stocked when items were getting low. We would like to thank the staff that organised our wedding Anniversary card which was a lovely surprise when we entered our room. Thank you again for making our stay at the Grand very special.

Loved my stay here. Great room well appointed. Friendly efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Couple of things i would note : room service menu is very basic for such a top hotel. Also QR codes would not work on tv to access content.
Also only 4 coffee pods in room….(i drink a lot of coffee.) I’m sure we would have got more if asked but perhaps a few more in room would be a good idea.
Having said that, it was great that real milk is supplied in the mini fridge for coffee/tea!

We stayed in room with the bigger bed on the 2nd floor. It had a comfortable bed, beautiful linen, a spacious bathroom, with toiletries, and was spotless in every aspect.
The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially in the bar area and reception, the service is second to none.

Parking: They very kindly reserved us a space as we had slight mobility problems, for which we were very grateful.

The breakfast was great, massive choice catered for everyone, young and old and it was fresh and delicious.

Location: The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's proximity to the beach/attractions was fantastic. We felt the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure

Love the quality of the rooms and decor since the refurbishment (especially the suite I had on my return stay). Location is great, very venue. Reception and restaurant staff very good. Bar area is nice but certain areas seem to get ignored by staff especially when a lot of afternoon teas are being served and priority is given to cleaning tables rather than serving waiting customers.

I was so impressed by this hotel. My daughter (age 7) had a one night stay as a treat, and we had a brilliant time. We were given a room upgrade on arrival to a sea view and the room was gorgeous. The recent refurbishment has been done very nicely and the whole hotel feels luxurious while also being very friendly and welcoming. The central atrium with the glass dome at the top is stunning. The Albert Suite where breakfast is served is also a lovely room and the restaurant is beautiful, though we didn't eat there as we opted for room service for dinner as a treat. For £250 including breakfast I thought it was very good value for the level of luxury included, especially as we stayed on a Friday night during the school holidays. As others have said, what really sets the hotel apart is the quality of service - every member of staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. As one small example, at breakfast my daughter needed to go to the loo and one of the waiters offered to escort her so that I didn't have to stop drinking my coffee.

My only word of caution on the location is that because it is right on the front (with a gorgeous view of the sea) it was noisy outside due to a lot of hen parties etc. We didn't mine this at all but others might find this off-putting if you are a light sleeper, in which case I'd recommend one of the internal rooms instead.

I’ve experienced hospitality at the Grand Brighton for years now, mostly as a photographer capturing events, especially the annual Acumen Business convention.

I am compelled to write this review as I’m so impressed by the service. The team are each welcoming, helpful and competent. The food at the convention this year was noticeably delicious, considering the sheer volume of delegates to serve.

After my shoot this year, I stayed for a delicious dinner with my daughter who brought our dog and we had cocktails - some of the best we’ve ever had.

Hats off to the Grand team, you are creating a great work culture!

I love coming here. Maybe one time I’ll treat myself to a room for the night even though I live in the city.

Stayed at the Grand for 2 nights the hotel still looks Amazing inside very keeping with its luxurious name ! Check in was perfect very quick and friendly staff. Our room was large and spotlessly clean with a large rain shower which was a nice touch also complementary water each day was appreciated! The room had a safe and large TV, Also the coffee machine was great really love proper coffee. The Bed was comfortable and the Air con kept the room a nice temperature. We were going to have a drink at the Bar which looked really nice but sadly it was full but that’s no one’s fault just bad timing in our part ! Breakfast on our last morning was very busy but had lots of choices and was always fully stocked as soon as anything ran out ! All the food was fresh and I must say there was a good vegetarian option too which is always good for me. Check out was quick although we were charged for 2 breakfast rather than one but this was quickly sorted and the hotel has issued us a refund! All in all another great stay with lots of friendly helpful staff and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.
