Had a meal for three tonight after being recommended to go.
Two steaks and a beef wellington. All really good with good service and decent house wine. I would say don’t bother splashing out for the Wagyu steak only because the rib-eye was so good.
The triple cooked chips were gorgeous and the onion rings were proper.
We ate at 7pm and the place was nicely busy. I recommend that you book. It is well worth a drive out.
£120 for 3 people including a bottle of wine was more than acceptable
Well worth a drive out

Slight mix up when we arrived as they showed me and my husband to one table then later our friends to another table out of our view and we were waiting for each other with bad phone signal when we were actually all there. However Very tasty cod. No bones. Also I asked for veg instead of potatoes and that was no problem. So still 5 stars.

You get what you pay for but I felt like I was ripping this place off with what I got for the price I payed. Hat off to the chef and all the staff. Wonderful cullenary experience 10/10.

Absolutely superb meal, the braised beef was to die for. Service very slick and pleasant staff, particularly Chelsea who spent time to have a chat and make us feel welcome. We live at Driffield, a fair ride away, but worth it, we'll be back.
