Excellent food took my family … will definitely go again soon…. You must have very good chefs ….. lovely tasting meals …. Lovely staff ….. great atmosphere …… great location will be back again very very soon. Plenty of parking spaces …. Think a full car park speaks for itself

Nice place. Nice decor, nice fire place and atmosphere. However it's a very 'locals' orientated pub and it's really off-putting. I get that pubs have local people (people who go alot) and yes of course they are important but equally important are other people who visit infrequently or as a one off. 'Locals' sit at the bar and dominate the space, and what was the most frustrating is that bar staff continue conversations (or worse start a conversation) with a 'local' while they are serving you. It's a stare when you walk on type of place unfortunately.

Not stayed here but have visited the pub attached many times and the rude bartender ruined the whole experience, believe he’s new and tbh what a shame!! ||The drink selection is great and the building is stunning so very disappointing that my experience was ruined by service

Nice friendly staff a good atmosphere a good range of well-kept real ales and the usual lagers and bottled beers. Just popped in for a beer and to meet a friend but will definitely go back.

The building needs updating and fairly run down. The bar seems like a popular place with some of the locals. Easy walking distance from the centre.
