Well what can I say, 5 stars all round. A late booking, had the family room, and what a fabulous reception.

Loads of info for the guests inside the room, chilled water, fresh milk in the mini fridge. Great choice for hot drinks also.

Food is really tasty, I had Hunters chicken, salad and chips with a sticky toffee pudding as dessert for dinner.

Then for breakfast I had eggs Benedict with salmon and I was really impressed with the perfect eggs! The full english looked amazing from what I saw and every plate was cleared.

Food tasted amazing! Can see why its so popular with the locals.

We were there this weekend for a family birthday, absolutely fantastic welcoming staff who prior to the date provided all the info we needed. On arrival the staff were great and helpful, we had young children and a disabled guest and all needs were catered for. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

My wife and I booked a room for three nights , the room was spacious with office room and en suite , tea and coffee making facilities,lovely friendly and very helpful staff and food was very good ,a lot of hand made items on menu

We go here once a month for our group meeting. Good menu, great food somethings on the menu can be a bit more money but worth it for the atmosphere. Parking to the side and rear of the pub.

The food here is quite wonderful, with a great specials board and menu- we’ve taken countless friends and family who have been visiting here, and they never disappoint.

We stopped for one night with bed and breakfast. |The Greyhound is a lovely pub with a fantastic outdoor seating area designed with privacy in mind.|We dined in and had a starter prior to our mains. The starters were on the table within a few minutes and were tasty and plentiful. Given time between courses and when our mains arrived they were piping hot and very tasty. I had a sirloin steak cooked to perfection with a peppercorn sauce, vegetables and chips. There was also a roast dinner that was plentiful and tasty. |If you don't dine here, and I don't know why you wouldn't. You need to try the chips. So tasty. Crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. It's the dimple things that please me. |Breakfast consisted of full English which was full of flavour. |Our room was excellent with a large double bed, en-suite, and a separate lounge area. It was clean and very comfortable. |The staff from our arrival to departure were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.|We would definitely stay again.

Driving around looking for somewhere to have a spot of lunch, and we happened on this picturesque inn. Staff are welcoming and friendly. I opted for hunters chicken from the specials board, and my wife had the chicken and bacon salad. Food was served in a timely manner, was well presented, and tasted divine. Thoroughly recommended we'll definitely be back.
