Nothing but Fantastic things to say about this place. I’ve been coming here for years and I’m never had a single bad or mediocre experience. It is always a pleasure to visit. Firstly the food is incredible. You can feel that the meat is very fresh and good quality. Very tasty and excellent suggestions from the staff. Speaking of, the staff are brilliant. Very social and friendly, always very welcoming. If you are looking for the best Indian restaurant you have found the one!

This is a late review but I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to Maz and the team, for all their help with catering for my Islamic wedding weekend last Summer. It was a last minute plan but they all did a great job and i'm very grateful. I've also eaten at the Haldi on separate occasions and everything has always been great. Thanks guys 🙂

For the service i don’t want to give even 1 star after recent visit at this place. Place from appearance it’s good but staff behaviour was horrible and very unprofessional … one of the staff member who looks like small kid he was so rude with my family…Don’t know how to behave with customers…And If we want to cook our own food we don’t come to your restaurant. So be respectful next with someone else…. Owner please give some training to your some of the staff how to behave…

The Haldi is THE place to go if you want the very finest Indian cuisine. What’s more, it’s not in the centre of town but in a beautiful village with ample free parking right outside. I have been using this restaurant regularly for years for both takeaways and dining in and the food and service is of a consistently high standard. The dishes are absolutely divine and Maz is always happy to accommodate all your culinary needs if you want to create something that isn’t on the menu or make a recommendation if you want to try a new dish. I can honestly say I’ve never had a meal here that isn’t top notch. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my curry and the 5 star hygiene rating and frequently busy restaurant reflect this.

Tried New Haldi on a very busy Wednesday night… so have made allowances with my review for slow service etc.
I ordered a coke, and a cobra appeared. But a lovely waiter switched them for me. It took a while to order our food but it was busy. But the staff were friendly especially what I guessed was the owner. (Awesome suit too!)

The starters were lovely!
(We were told they would take a while as the kitchen was so busy, so we did order poppadoms and chutneys in the mean time so to not rush the heaving kitchen staff any further as we could tell they were busy!)
We had the chicken tikka and samosas. The tikka melted! It was beautiful. The samosas were bursting with flavour.

The mains came a butter chicken and a korma, both were DIVINE! My boyfriend got the paneer cheese and spinach with a boiled rice. I ordered a boiled rice and garlic naan (the rice never appeared but it’s fine) everything tasted lovely!

It took a while to get the bill but as I’ve mentioned, they were very busy! We will go back as the owner was ace and the food was lovely!

Had a curry takeaway tonight for four. We all agreed it was one of the best curries we have had. The chicken was plentiful and tender, the sauce's were perfect so so tasty. Definitely be ordering again soon. Cheers Maz and the guys, excellent quick and friendly service aswell.

After waiting 1.5 hours for our delivery, we called the restaurant to enquire when the food might be delivered. They said they were very busy but it was being cooked as we spoke. 20 minutes later and a bag of COLD food was delivered. I understand the challenges when it’s busy, and that circumstances can cause delays, but what has really prompted this review is the attitude of the owner when we complained. He was rude, dismissive and arrogant..even comparing our experience to him purchasing a cold Happy Meal the day before!!! Furthermore, his false accusation that I was using inappropriate language, shows the level
of desperation he is prepared to go in order to justify the non-existent customer service .

We have taken our extended family to this restaurant on several occasions but will never use them again.

If you can’t fulfil an order, don’t accept it; If you’re ’too busy’ to cope, employ more staff; if you can’t be civil to customers, stay at home.
