No heating on when we arrived in the middle of January. 5 degrees !! Had to wait 30 mins for timer to kick in. Absolutely freezing room. Had to get in bed too keep warm. Couldn't have a shower or get changed. Dreadful reaction from host. Didn't seem to care. Ruined our trip. Could get out quick enough

Simon and Linda helped us out in an Emergency. We stopped 3 nights. The location is superb. The quality of the accommodation is excellent. Definitely would recommend this property to everyone. The garden is brilliant. Very clean and tidy.

We was at a wedding at Hardwick, and wanted to stay local for an extra night. Arrived Sunday we asked for early book in, they were very accommodating ,The room was very clean, the beds so comfortable with quality bedding. We went to the local pub had Sunday roast. We left bank holiday with a lovely freshly cooked breakfast.

This B&B is fabulous. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are immaculate and have everything you need. The kitchen/diner/lounge is lovely and a great bonus. Simon and Linda could not have been more kind, friendly and helpful. It was particularly nice to be asked at what time we would like breakfast rather than being told what time breakfast was served. The setting is so peaceful.......you can hear nothing but the birdsong.......and the gardens are beautiful. Definitely the best B&B I have ever stayed in. We look forward to returning.

What a find in the middle of the country! Great welcome from the owners, lovely comfortable room, great touch of providing small jug to get fresh milk from fridge (which you could put your own food in) for tea/coffee in room. Hot cooked breakfast provided in price, option of toast and cereal as well. Got to leave with some home grown tomatoes as well!

Really lovely, very quiet, idyllic setting. It is so so peaceful with great views across the countryside with a great pub a very short distance away. Mr & Mrs Strong are lovely hosts making your stay very comfortable.

This was the perfect stop off driving from North to South and was an oasis of calm after a long time driving down the M6. We were welcomed in and offered breakfast in the morning at a time to suit ourselves. The bedroom and ensuite were lovely and spacious with perfectly fluffy towels and a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

A superb B&B set in beautiful surroundings with ample parking space. Simon and his wife were very welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful view of the gardens from the French windows, which opened on to a lovely patio area. The bathroom was spotless with a good shower and spacious bath. Breakfast was good, and the kitchen and dining room are available to use at your leisure, which is handy. Highly recommend Hall Farm and I would happily stay there again.
