Amazing hospitality right from the word go. Our room was an adapted room with a wet room. It was so spacious and the room was very accessible. I was able to sleep soundly, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were so fluffy. There were complementary tea, coffee, water crisps and biscuits and a bottle of cider. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant was very nice. The menu was a little limited for my liking but that's personal choice. What we had to eat was very nice. Breakfast was hot and a buffet or cooked with tea or coffee.

Really nice food but massively let down by front of house service. The first time we put down the fact of it being really busy as to why the staff seemed so uninterested to take orders but this time it was really quiet and they still forgot to put drinks through and didn’t check how the food was and took ages to take the order. Won’t be in a rush to go back

I stayed here for a one night staycation. Location is great, just off the A3. The stay was WONDERFUL! The room was lovely, with an amazing bathroom, with lots of personal care items. We ate at the pub for dinner and breakfast and both were delightful. We both agreed that the whole stay was such a pleasant surprise and we will aim to stay at more Fullers pubs in the future. Staff were friendly and the room was great!

Stayed here previously and left a very positive review. However we visited again last week and were quite disappointed. The hotel really needs refurbishment, it's quite tatty. There was mould in the bathroom, and it wasn't super clean.
However, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was nice (with vegetarian and vegan options).
We visit regularly to see friends but will probably try somewhere else in future.

What an absolute cracker of a pub! We recently booked here for a big family birthday party and the service was absolutely incredible. This is a proper English pub in every sense! Great selections of beers, beautiful food and a lovely landlord and landlady. If carlsberg did pubs!!!!!

After we paid and reminded the waitress about the desert twice, she finally brought it. It took 50 minutes since we paid. The personel definitely needs training. The food is Below avarage

The ambience on arrival is lovely, the staff are attentive but the food was dreadful value for money. Scampi was £18.50 for 8 pieces and the kids meals I took back as they were discussing. I told them to sack the chef before they lost all their business

Thanks for your great welcome. We really enjoyed our stay with you. Great food, including gluten free provision. You have a lovely friendly team who were so kind and helpful. My only problem was that it was difficult to walk anywhere from the hotel as all the verge paths were overgrown. So I had to walk in the busy road, and that was a bit scary! Never mind.
